According to rumours, Chelsea and Arsenal will compete to recruit Alexis Mac Allister of Brighton & Hove Albion.
The Argentine midfielder had a fantastic season with the Seahawks. He has continued his hot play at the FIFA World Cup. His outstanding play was a major factor in La Albiceleste winning their third World Cup in 36 years.
TYC Sports reports that Atletico Madrid, Chelsea, and Arsenal are all interested in signing the midfielder. In the hunt to recruit the Argentine, Chelsea has a little edge over Arsenal.
Sources indicate that Brighton’s asking price will be far higher than Mac Allister’s current valuation of €30 million. The midfielder is believed to be on the move this summer rather than in the next January transfer window.
Although Arsenal may be the better choice, recent relations between Chelsea and Brighton have been positive. Blues owner Todd Boehly struck an agreement to bring Marc Cucurella to London during the most recent transfer window. Levi Colwill, a promising defender, was loaned to Brighton.

But we are still in contact with Dortmund and will see what the next few days bring.”
Moukoko’s current deal will expire this summer, making him available for pre-contract negotiations in the near future. A report from the Spanish publication Sport claims that Barcelona is now the favourite to sign him. Even so, three top Premier League clubs—Chelsea, Arsenal, and Tottenham—are all considering signing the teenager to bolster their respective striking forces.
