Arsenal Newsnow: Arsenal has allegedly increased their offer for Shakhtar Donetsk’s Mykhaylo Mudryk to €70 million
Arsenal Newsnow: According to Tutto Mercato, Shakhtar Donetsk may want at least €70 million for Mykhaylo Mudryk, making Arsenal’s earlier offer of €60 million seem inadequate. Since then, Arsenal has submitted a revised offer. Fabrizio Romano is certain that the club would get a greater total compensation.
Mykhaylo Mudryk remains a target of Arsenal, who are exerting significant effort to reach an agreement with Shakhtar Donetsk. The Ukrainians have made it clear that they want close to €100 million for their finest asset. But the Gunners are not prepared to pay that much.
On the night of their match against West Ham United, the Gunners made their initial offer, which was estimated to be approximately €60 million. But when the specifics surfaced, it seemed the basic price was €40 million and the extras cost another €20 million. Shakhtar quickly rejected the offer as negotiations between the two teams proceeded.
Arsenal Newsnow: About the report:
While the rumours persisted, Mudryk posted twice on Instagram during Arsenal’s games against West Ham and Brighton, respectively, to make his choice apparent. Nonetheless, the player’s desire to transfer kept the initiative with Shakhtar. A sizable commission was reportedly requested at closing. The Gunners and the player, though, have already settled on individual terms.
Arsenal second proposal for Mykhaylo Mudryk is close to €50m fixed fee plus add-ons. Shakhtar expected to make a decision, the clubs are in direct contact. ⚪️🔴🇺🇦 #AFC

In the article, it is said that Shakhtar might sell Mudryk to Arsenal for at least €70 million. If Arsenal and the winger’s current club, Chelsea, are unable to reach an agreement, Chelsea may make an offer. But for the time being, the Ukrainian side thinks Arsenal has to increase their offer for the 21-year-old.
In an effort to change Shakhtar’s mind, the Gunners have apparently made a new, better offer lately. According to Fabrizio Romano, the base price has been raised to €50 million. If the incentives are included, the total value of the offer is close to €70 million, which he claims may be sufficient to entice Shakhtar to make a deal.
Some prominent journalists’ tweets indicate that negotiations between the two teams have been fruitful. It follows that further adjustments to the existing offer might result in an agreement shortly. Mudryk has expressed interest in joining Arsenal. The north London club has the same desire.

What will happen to Mykhaylo Mudryk?
A number of Chelsea fans have voiced their displeasure at the club’s reported interest in signing Mykhaylo Mudryk in January, despite the fact that this would put the player on Arsenal’s turf. The Gunners have been trying to make a move since the summer. But if a transfer from Shakhtar to Arsenal can’t be finalized by January, Todd Boehly may try to steal him away.
As reported by Ben Jacobs, the Blues have not made an offer for Mudryk. The player at the centre of the transfer issue is still insisting on joining Arsenal. He then goes on to mention a player who might be vital in helping Arsenal complete the acquisition.
Both Oleksandr Zinchenko and Mudryk are from Ukraine, thus they keep in touch often. Towards the end of 2022, Vlada Zinchenko had an interview with Mudryk, during which time the subject of a move to Arsenal did come up.
