WWE Superstar And Analyst Talks About Companies That Could Buy The Wrestling Brand

WWE

The world is talking about a rumoured sale of the WWE!! Many believe that the company has already been sold. Some are of the notion that these are just stories made up to bump the stock price. A sale could be on the cards in that case, as well. Whatever be the reason and the talking points, there are various Pundits and former superstars responding to this huge news.

One such individual who probably might know a bit more is Pat McAfee. He is an analyst and currently still employed by the WWE (as per sources). The WWE athlete and commentator is on a hiatus from SmackDown at present. With that being said, the fans want to know what McAfee thinks of the story.

He was seen discussing the same on the Pat McAfee Show with his panel. While discussing, a few funny things came up.

The Video That Shows Pat McAfee And Co. Talk About The Potential Sale Of The WWE

It was quite obvious that someone so close to the company would discuss the topic. At the end of the day, it could be a talking point of his future too (though he is with ESPN at present). Well, whether or not it impacts him long-term, Pat McAfee still had his say on the matter.

So, as per the panel, a sale to Saudi is not possible. The idea being that they wouldn’t know what to do with it. However, there was one smart idea that was also put out by the panel.

The sale could be something similar to the UFC. The owner could be someone else and it could be run by another individual. However, as per the panel, the sale could be to some American network, rather than a Saudi owner.

Well, if anyone knows a bit about the WWE, it surely has to be one of these guys. They have been covering a lot of content in recent times. To add to that, McAfee was also in SmackDown and on other live shows before he took a break.

How Does It Matter To The Global Fanbase!?

At the end of the day, the global fanbase won’t be bothered by who owns the company. Yes, there might be some changes if the company is sold by the McMahons. However, the functionality of the company’s product would depend on the person handling it. The owners would surely be on the board. But, may not be a big face like the McMahons were.

So, at the end of the day, the dynamics of this industry could be totally changing. The likes of AEW and Impact, if not more, may finally get the credit that they have deserved for so long. Let’s wait and watch how things develop now.

For now, the best thing to do is to keep track of this story. There can be many twists and turns if there is any truth in this story for sure!!
