Arsenal Newsnow: Reports from the Italian website Tuttomercatoweb indicate that Newcastle United will attempt to sign Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, a midfielder for Lazio. Several of Europe’s best teams have shown serious interest in the Serbian midfielder.
Now that he’s ready to further his career, he’s lobbying for a transfer away from the club. Even though new terms have been presented, the 27-year-old is still actively seeking new employment.
His current deal doesn’t expire until 2024. The club knows they may have to sell him if they can’t come to terms on a new deal by next summer.
