“What A Signing This Can be!”, €21.9M Rated Player Wanted By Arsenal In The January Transfer Window

Arsenal Newsnow

Arsenal Newsnow: ABC Sevilla reports that Premier League teams Arsenal, managed by Mikel Arteta, and Manchester United, managed by Erik ten Hag, are both interested in acquiring Luiz Henrique from Real Betis.

According to the Spanish news source, both Arsenal and Manchester United are intensively monitoring the 22-year-old Brazilian attacker. Scouts from Arsenal and Manchester United have visited Betis games to check out the kid.

We think Luiz Henrique has the makings of a promising young attacker and that he would be a solid addition to either Arsenal or Manchester United. This kid may play in the centre of the field or on the wings in an attacking formation.

Luiz Henrique has played 14 times for Betis this season, 11 as a starter and 3 as a substitute in La Liga. The 22-year-old has recorded a goal and an assist in each of those games.

The Brazilian attacker has also appeared six times in the UEFA Europa League for Betis this season, three times as a starter and three times as a substitute. Over the course of the four games, Luiz Henrique has contributed to four total goals and two total assists.

It remains to be seen if Arsenal or Manchester United attempt to acquire the services of the Brazilian striker in the next January transfer window or postpone any action until the upcoming summer of 2023.

Tottenham vs Arsenal in the limelight

Antonio Conte has increased the pressure on Arsenal by labelling them as Premier League championship favourites and warned them of mounting expectations. The Tottenham boss is testing his team’s mettle in front of Sunday’s derby against them.

Arsenal has faced charges from the FA for failing to manage their players in two consecutive games, against Newcastle United in the league and Oxford United in the FA Cup. Amid an appeal for civility, he called out those who try to bully officials.

With Chelsea, Conte won the league in 2016–17 by setting an example and being a leader. He is thus familiar with the pressure and stress of being the focus of the opposition. They were nine points ahead of the competition after 17 games. After that many games, Arsenal has a five-point lead over Manchester City, who are now in second position.

With the FA allegations in mind, Mikel Arteta’s club’s ability to bring players near the referee in controversial times stands out even if they are far from the only team to indulge in this type of gamesmanship. When asked whether he was concerned that they could attempt to influence the derby referee, Craig Pawson, Conte expressed his scepticism.
