Arsenal Transfer News: This summer, Arsenal may have to spend a fortune to get West Ham United captain Declan Rice
Arsenal Transfer News: Give Me Sport reports that Premier League leaders Arsenal are considering breaking their transfer record to sign West Ham United striker Declan Rice this summer.
The Englishman’s career began with Chelsea, where he rose through the ranks until being dismissed and signing with West Ham. In his time with the Hammers, he has established himself as not just the team captain but also as one of the league’s top central midfielders.
He has two years left on his deal at the London Stadium, which he signed when he was 24. West Ham has a better chance of getting a high price for his services this summer. Arsenal is willing to do so. The Hammers would be forced to sell to a bitter rival.

Arsenal Transfer News: What’s the matter?
David Moyes, manager of West Ham, seems to have accepted the fact that his star player would depart the club at some point. But he won’t let Rice go for less than the British record price. It’s safe to assume that Rice will set you back at least as much as Chelsea’s £107 million purchase of Enzo Fernandez did last month.
Interested party Arsenal may have to break the bank to sign him. To bolster their midfield, Dean Jones thinks the Gunners will be willing to do so. But they won’t give West Ham a free pass. After all, it’s one place Mikel Arteta could use some help.
The Gunners are back on top of English football and are a serious Premier league contender. However, they have low overall strength and rely too much on a select few individuals. The signing of Rice would provide Arsenal with a world-class midfielder and an experienced captain capable of guiding the team to victory.

Where will Declan Rice finally move to?
The 24-year-old has drawn the attention of many clubs ahead of the summer transfer window, including Chelsea and Manchester United. In recent years, especially the former has shown a propensity to simply throw money at their issues. No one would bet against them if they went to any lengths to reclaim their former student.
It seemed like Arsenal had Mykhaylo Mudryk in their sights, but Chelsea rushed in at the last second and snatched him away. In the summer transfer window, Rice might be relegated once again as they were in the past. Arsenal is in a stronger position than Chelsea to provide Rice with UEFA Champions League football for the next season. It may end up being their only hope.
