Arsenal Transfer News: Arsenal is one of the Premier League teams interested in signing Argentina attacker Lautaro Martinez
Arsenal Transfer News: Pete O’Rourke of Give Me Sport claims that Arsenal, among other prominent Premier League clubs, has been offered a chance to sign Lautaro Martinez this summer. The Gunners are among the Big Six teams interested in signing the World Cup champion, who is valued at £80m.
Inter Milan may make a major decision on the future of many important players. Their primary issue is still their financial situation. Being one of the team’s most valued talents, Lautaro Martinez’s potential sale might be a pivotal step in the club’s development.
If a substantial bid comes in the summer, Inter Milan might sell the World Cup champion for £80m. Many big Premier League teams have shown interest, including Chelsea, Manchester United, and Arsenal.

Reports have surfaced lately linking the striker to the Gunners. Arsenal has been in constant communication with Martinez’s camp to iron out the technicalities before making a move. Mikel Arteta is not actively seeking a new striker. But if the chance to sign Martinez presents itself, he could take it.

Pete O’Rourke claims that Martinez is keen on signing with a Premier League club. As he put it, “Lautaro Martinez has been in fine form for Inter Milan as of late. My guess is that he would welcome the opportunity to play in the Premier League. Teams like Arsenal and others are keeping eyes on his status.”
Even though Arsenal had previously indicated interest, they already have two excellent options at No. 9 in Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah. They’re both versatile strikers, but Martinez plays in the middle. Yet, he may prove to be a valuable asset to Arteta’s side.

Will Lautaro Martinez join Arsenal or will he move elsewhere to any other club?
Arsenal’s interest in Martinez might cast serious questions on the future of Folarin Balogun, the top scorer in Ligue 1. In the summer, when the teenage striker has finished his loan at Reims, Arteta will have to decide whether or not to keep him around for the next season.
The Gunners have put themselves in a strong position to win the Premier League. A victory in May would give the Emirates a fighting chance of luring top talent. Arteta is rumoured to spend heavily this summer.
They have been connected to players like Declan Rice. But as opposed to a few seasons ago, when the Gunners showed interest, the current situation in north London is far more likely to entice a player like Martinez to sign with the club.
