The Brazilian has had another outstanding season and still has quite a few years of service ahead of him. Meanwhile, Real Madrid, a major club in Spain, is interested in signing Firmino. The whites are looking for a new nine.
Will Real Madrid sign Roberto Firmino?
Karim Benzema, their top scorer, is 35 years old and nearing the end of his career. Carlo Ancelotti is looking for a player rotation specialist to aid with Benzema. Firmino’s playing style makes him an attractive alternative for the team. The Brazilian striker’s playing style is reminiscent of that of Real Madrid’s captain.
This summer, expect Ancelotti to start shopping for a new striker. Firmino, who will be a free agent after this season, is a fantastic choice for Los Blancos. Given that the Brazilian attacker is above the age of 30, though, it’s possible that Real Madrid isn’t interested in such a move right now.
The 31-year-old’s injury history has forced him to miss significant playing time. His on-field accomplishments are impressive, but certain issues might hurt his chances. It would be intriguing to see whether Firmino ultimately signs with Real Madrid after they consider the benefits and drawbacks of the move.
