NBA 2023: “Stephen Curry Can Not Lead The Warriors To The Playoffs” – Nick Wright Casts Shadow Of Doubt About Dubs’ Role In 2023 Title Race

NBA 2023: "Stephen Curry Can Not Lead The Warriors To The Playoffs" - Nick Wright Casts Shadow Of Doubt About Dubs' Role In 2023 Title Race

NBA 2023: Even though Stephen Curry is enjoying one of the finest scoring and efficiency seasons of his 14-year NBA career, the Warriors do not seem to be prepared to contend in the Playoffs if they were to begin today.

The 9-time All-Star just scored 50 points against the Clippers. The fact that he made 20 of his 28 shots is ridiculous. Despite their best efforts, the Warriors fell short in a 134-126 defeat. As a result, several analysts predict that thIS season will not be as fruitful for the Dubs as the last season was.

Fox Sports commentator Nick Wright is sceptical that Stephen Curry can lead the Warriors this year. To back up his claim, Wright used a count of Curry’s 40-point games. The Warriors have won 48 of those 62 games in his first 13 seasons and are 3 of 3 so far this year.

Now, more than ever, it is crystal evident that the Warriors cannot win the championship without Andrew Wiggins’ return to the starting lineup. Or else they could be shown the door after the first round. Yet with the West suddenly loaded following the February transfer deadline, they may not even make the Playoffs if they fail to end the regular season well.

Wiggins is out indefinitely at the moment. But with Gary Payton II set to return later this month, the Dubs will be at least twice as good defensively as they are now if Wiggins returns. The Warriors’ odds of advancing beyond the first round are worse than any of the other top eight teams in the West if the former Timberwolves forward has to see out the season.

Tonight, Stephen Curry and the rest of the Warriors visited Los Angeles to take on the Clippers. For the fourth time this year, these two teams squared off against one another. At now, the Sharks are down 2-1 in the series, with the Dubs in the lead. The fact that the game will be played away from home, though, presents an issue.

The Warriors are currently on a home-winning run of eight games. Yet, they are now suffering through an eight-game losing skid on the road. Kawhi will be playing against the Splash Brothers for the first time since Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals.

What’s next?

There will be fireworks, for sure; the first half has already been packed with nonstop activity. Take a look at how Stephen Curry fooled Kawhi, a fantastic defender, into giving up on him for example.

To this day, there is not a single person who does not agree that Stephen Curry is required viewing. The 35-year-old legend brings pure enthusiasm to the game, making him a delight to watch.

The Clippers’ sharpshooter shot only 3-6 from the floor in the first half, missing all three of his 3-point tries. With around two minutes remaining in the first quarter, the Chef made his first three-point shot. Unsurprisingly, it wasn’t a straightforward one. Then, after being lifted by Kawhi Leonard at midcourt, he dropped. Then, while attempting the shot, two defenders jumped at him, and he was fouled.
