“I Think The Whole Indian Team Should Now Go To Mandir To Play Left Arm Seamers”: Fans Express Anger As India Lost 5 Wickets Within 50 Runs In Vizag Against Australia

"I Think The Whole Indian Team Should Now Go To Mandir To Play Left Arm Seamers": Fans Express Anger As India Lost 5 Wickets Within 50 Runs In Vizag Against Australia

India vs Australia: On Sunday, March 19, the Indian cricket team will play the second of three One-Day Internationals against Australia, hoping to win the series and take the trophy home. The venue for the match will be the Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam. Yet a victory here is crucial for Australia to keep their series hopes alive.

They were completely outclassed in the batting innings, scoring just 188 before being knocked out. Cricket-wise, the bowlers remained superior, putting India in a disadvantaged position throughout the brief chase. Excellent batting by KL Rahul (75) and Ravindra Jadeja (45) helped India win with 5 wickets remaining.

After a spectacular catch and two wickets, Jadeja was named the game’s most valuable player for his outstanding performance across the board. The good news for India is that Rohit Sharma will be leading the squad again after taking a short sabbatical.

In the second ODI, Australia captain Steve Smith won the toss and chose to bowl first. India made two changes, as Rohit Sharma was back for Ishan Kishan. Axar Patel is in the side for Shardul Thakur. However, Mitchell Starc has other ideas, as he sent back Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Suryakumar Yadav and KL Rahul. Meanwhile Abott sent back Hardik Pandya. India is starring down the barell as they have lost their five wickets and still not scored 50 runs.

India have lost five wickets in the second ODI against Australia for a paltry

Steve Smith at the toss said: “We will have a bowl. Different surface, been under covers for a while, might do something. Just a partnership through the middle would have helped us. It’s a good learning for us playing on these surfaces. Ellis comes in for Maxwell who has pulled up a bit sore and Carey is back for Inglis.”

Rohit Sharma at the toss said: “Pitch has been under the covers for a long time, we got to bat well and see where we are. Every game you play for India is a pressure game, so you got to stay calm and make the right decision. We have tried to remain calm in the last few ODI series we have played. Two changes. Ishan misses out, I am back for him, Shardul misses out and Axar is in. If we win the toss, I thought we could do something with three spinners if we bowl first.”

India (Playing XI): Rohit Sharma(c), Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, KL Rahul(w), Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Siraj, Mohammed Shami

Australia (Playing XI): Travis Head, Mitchell Marsh, Steven Smith(c), Marnus Labuschagne, Alex Carey(w), Cameron Green, Marcus Stoinis, Sean Abbott, Nathan Ellis, Mitchell Starc, Adam Zampa
