Liverpool Newsnow: "He Will Come To Liverpool" - Liverpool Have Been TOLD THE TRANSFER PRICE They Need To Pay For The Chelsea Star

Liverpool Newsnow: Liverpool Football Club have reportedly been notified they must splash £ 70 million for Chelsea attacking midfielder, Mason Mount.

Liverpool Newsnow: The current situation at Chelsea Football Club hasn’t been good. With a club of that stature and reputation, they should be aiming for the top four, if not winning the title. However, things took a sharp turn ever since Thomas Tuchel left the club. Ever since Graham Potter took over, the Blues don’t seem to be moving in the right direction.

The fans want the players to channelise their aggression in the appropriate manner. However, in reality, the Blues haven’t made enough progress under the new manager. Chelsea are still alive in the UEFA Champions League competition. They will lock horns with Real Madrid in the quarter-finals. [ Liverpool Newsnow ]

For sure, Chelsea don’t have a chance to make it to the top four, considering that there is enough competition for that spot. While Arsenal and Manchester City are in the race for the title, the likes of Manchester United, Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool are giving it all in order to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

As things stand, Chelsea are currently tenth on the points table with 10 wins, 8 draws and 9 defeats. The Blues have collected as many as 38 points so far. They have scored a total of 29 goals but conceded 28 goals and have a goal difference of just 1. As things stand, it seems that Chelsea might finish outside the top 6 this season. Liverpool told they must splash £70million for Chelsea attacking midfielder

Liverpool Newsnow: "He Will Come To Liverpool" - Liverpool Have Been TOLD THE TRANSFER PRICE They Need To Pay For The Chelsea Star

According to the latest transfer rumours, Liverpool have been told they must spend a whopping £70million for Chelsea attacking midfielder, Mason Mount. It really seems that the advanced talks between Liverpool and Chelsea have happened. The representatives and the agents of Liverpool apparently tried to bring Mason Mount to Anfield.

However, it is quite clear that Chelsea won’t let him go for a cheap price, according to Football Transfers, with the midfielder’s asking price estimated to be around £70m. It is quite obvious that Liverpool isn’t the kind of club that spends too much money on a player unless the player is talented. Mason Mount is a sensational talent and could fit Liverpool. For the record, the English international has just a year left in his contract this summer. Considering that he has all the tools and ingredients, he could be of great help to Liverpool in the midfield department. Liverpool will look to rebuild their squad going forward into the next season and if they can get a player like Mason Mount, they are certain to do well.

Meanwhile, ex-Chelsea goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer urged the club to not sell the player. “Mason is almost unsellable. He’s a player you would not sell and he is a Chelsea kid through and through. Mason has been at the club all his life. That’s what fans die for. Chelsea fans love that. He’s such an incredible player. I certainly would not be selling him as he is such a phenomenal player,” the former Chelsea goalkeeper Schwarzer told Sky Sports. [ Liverpool Newsnow ]
