Football Insider reports that Wolves will not accept an offer for Pedro Neto from Arsenal. The Midlands club wants to retain the Portuguese striker and give Julen Lopetegui some assistance in the next transfer window.
The efforts of Julen Lopetegui have increased the likelihood that Wolves will avoid relegation at the end of May. The former manager of Sevilla was brought in when relegation seemed certain. There are also the efforts of his players, albeit Pedro Neto does not figure prominently.
The Portuguese forward has just recovered from his second major injury in as many years. Arsenal are apparently ready to reignite their interest in the winger, despite the obvious worry about his immediate fitness levels.
Last summer, Mikel Arteta repeatedly inquired about acquiring Neto. According to reports, the Gunners’ interest in the Portuguese forward was thwarted by Wolves’ £50 million asking price. Arsenal did not want to spend that much. Once the winger was out for an extended period of time again, they were justified in their choice.
Due to Arsenal’s continued pursuit of a right winger, Neto’s name has once again surfaced as a possible target. The Portuguese forward might be seen as competition for players like Moussa Diaby. Arteta’s primary need is for a right-sided defender to cover for and challenge Bukayo Saka.
According to reports, Neto was a possible choice. However, the Wolves cannot afford to lose him at this time. The Portuguese attacker has been under contract with the club since March 2022. His contract extends all the way through 2027. Therefore, the Black Country Club is not worried and will try to keep hold of the winger.

In the summer, if Arsenal make an offer for Pedro Neto, Wolves may choose to reject it because of Mikel Arteta’s renewed interest in the player
According to the rumour, Arsenal, who are still interested in Neto, may forget about making an offer to Wolves. The 23-year-old has been getting a lot of attention from other teams thanks to his promising play for the Midlands side.
It would be surprising if Arsenal made a bid, given his previous history of injuries. The Gunners may not be serious about Neto at the moment. But for the time being, he should be seen as a backup target. Therefore, the club is not likely to devote more resources to this endeavour, though they could potentially act if the right window of opportunity presents itself.
According to shocking Spanish rumours, the Wolves have made an approach to recruiting Ansu Fati from Barcelona, with one of their own great players as a potential trade.
Fati replaced Lionel Messi as Barcelona’s No. 10, although he has been hampered by injuries recently. He has played in only 11 La Liga games this season. That’s why there have been whispers regarding the winger perhaps quitting the club.
Fati has recently been linked to clubs like Manchester United and Tottenham. Diario Sport, however, reports that Wolves have made an offer to sign the 20-year-old.
