The interest of Paris Saint-Germain in Ousmane Dembele has been reported by the Spanish media source SPORT. The 26-year-old has a reported €60 million price tag. However, he has no interest in joining PSG. And he’s prepared to sign a new deal with the Blaugrana to remain with Barcelona for the foreseeable future.

Ousmane Dembele’s career has been revitalised since Xavi Hernandez became Barcelona’s manager. The Frenchman’s previous clubs and country both had success with him as a player. However, he struggled at Spotify Camp Nou due to poor fitness and attitude throughout most of his time there.

The 26-year-old was once a minor cog in Barcelona’s machine. However, Xavi has made him a key cog. Dembele’s market worth, however, has increased to €60 million from a low of €10 million two years ago. However, Barcelona will be in a bind next year when the player’s contract expires. PSG isn’t the only major team that’s taken notice of this kind of thing.

The reigning Ligue 1 winners have long been interested in signing Dembele and have made attempts to do so in the two most recent transfer windows. However, the Frenchman continually extended his stay in Barcelona. No agreement was ever reached. PSG’s desire to sign the Barcelona forward has not faded much, however.
