There is no doubt that Alexis Mac Allister is a quality player. However, the debate to confirm how good he actual is, continues to happen. And though he has won the World Cup in 2022 with Argentina, he wasn’t always their best player. However, he did just enough for the team to win the trophy.
With a move to Liverpool all but done, there is so much talk about the player. Alexis Mac Allister has been all over the news since the start of this year. This was the time when the rumours of his potential exit from Brighton had come out for the first time. And with the club willing to sell and the player willing to leave, it was just a matter of time.
Now, that the move is confirmed, the fans are speculating as to how good he is. And this has raised some questions. No doubt that the player has some quality and is quite young. But is this what Liverpool actually need or maybe not!?
The Hype Around Alexis Mac Allister; Real Or Fake!?
Well, the football fanbases are surely divided on this one. While the Liverpool fans would be delighted by the fact that they have gotten such a talent, other fans are still not sure about his potential. Though, at the end of the day, it would all depend on how Jurgen Klopp would utilize his talents.
Despite that, there will always be some doubts about his capabilities. This is due to the fact that not all big jumps work out. Not just for players. But for managers as well. And Graham Potter’s move to Chelsea is a prime example of this.
Now, whether his former player can make an impact or not, remains to be seen. However, it seems that Adrian Durham has his own doubts as well. And he expressed them on a talkSport show recently!!
😱 “Am I the only one who’s not totally convinced that he’s actually that good?!”
❌ “If you want to get back to winning titles, I’m not convinced he solves the problems.”

What Next For The Argentine And The Kops!?
Well, ideally the German manager gives the transfer team a profile and they sign the best fit. That’s how they got the likes of Mane, Salah, Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold, amongst many recent signings. With that being said, there needs to a certain trust that Alexis Mac Allister will deliver.
He is just 24 at present. And has a long road ahead of him. Ideally, Jurgen Klopp can get the best out of him and he can repeat what he has done for Brighton and the Argentine national team so far. Let’s wait and watch what kind of an impact Alexis Mac Allister has.
For now, Liverpool has signed him and the confirmation is awaited. And once that is done, there is no turning back for the Anfield faithful. He could be one of those signings that really delivers or totally flops. Only time will tell!!
