Antonio Conte is looking to make himself busy in the transfer window next season, as they have reportedly launched a £35m bid for Juve’s left-back Alex Sandro. According to a Turin based newspaper, L a Stampa the defender’s agent met with Chelsea’s officials in London on Sunday. Juventus are looking to sell the player but they want him to be sold for a better price which is estimated at nearly £50m.
Sandro was bought from the Portuguese club FC Porto 2 years ago for a much lower price of £19m and this will be a good business for the Italian Champions as they will sell him at a price more than twice of what they spent to buy him.
It should be a good move for Chelsea watching the player’s ability and this will give Conte the choice to play with a back four next season. The 26 year old Brazilian has been excellent this season and the most important was his consistency.
He has appeared for forty three times for Juve and has played more than three thousand minutes.
He is very good at dribbling and passing which makes him an extra source of attack during some times but his most notable trait is his presence in air. He has won a lot of Aerial duels which is great.
He works on his concentration which has proven on the pitch. He is highly concentrated and makes timely tackles.
A defender of his calibre is what Chelsea need and hopefully the move works out soon, though the Serie A champs recently asked the west Londoners, a fee of £61m for his release.
Will Conte pay the asking price??
