Arsenal Has Taken A Big Decision On Jorginho

Arsenal News: Jorginho, is an Italian footballer and professional midfielder currently playing for Arsenal in the Premier League. Transitioning from Brazil to Italy at fifteen, he commenced his professional career with Hellas Verona’s junior team before advancing to the senior squad. Loaned to Sambonifacese for the 2010–11 season, he then joined Napoli in January 2014, swiftly accumulating trophies such as the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana.

After a successful stint at Chelsea, where he secured both UEFA Europa League and Champions League titles, Jorginho made the switch to Arsenal in 2023 after four and a half years. His international career with Italy commenced in 2016, culminating in victory at the 2020 UEFA European Championship and a remarkable third-place finish in the 2021 Ballon d’Or, alongside being honored as the UEFA Men’s Player of the Year, a historic achievement for Italian football.

Arsenal start new contract talks with Jorginho

Arsenal, a Premier League powerhouse, appears open to contract talks with Jorginho. According to Give Me Sport, the last six months of Jorginho’s £110,000 per week deal with Arsenal have commenced. The 32-year-old has allegedly attracted interest from Serie A clubs, notably Juventus. Nevertheless, the Gunners are poised to initiate negotiations for a new one-year deal with an optional extension.

Since his surprising transfer from Chelsea to Arsenal in January 2023, Jorginho has proven to be a dependable asset for the Gunners. Despite enjoying success at Chelsea, including UEFA Europa League and Champions League triumphs, the Italian international sought a fresh challenge after losing his starting midfield role.

Should contract talks prove fruitful, Arsenal is unlikely to adjust Jorginho’s £110,000-a-week wages. With potential Serie A suitors like Lazio and Juventus, it remains uncertain whether Jorginho is ready to commit to Arsenal long-term, especially with his former manager, Maurizio Sarri, awaiting his arrival at Lazio. The Emirates awaits news on whether Jorginho’s tenure will extend beyond its current term.

The Gunners, Chelsea and Manchester United want Federico Chiesa

Federico Chiesa, the 26-year-old winger for Juventus, finds himself amidst intense transfer speculation, with Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal all vying for his signature. According to reports from Fichajes, Manchester United, in particular, are showing a keen interest in securing Chiesa’s services and may make a move before the season concludes. Chelsea and Arsenal are also closely monitoring the situation, eyeing a potential bid for the talented Italian.

With an impressive record of 28 goals and 22 assists during his time at Juventus, Chiesa has emerged as a sought-after asset for top clubs across Europe. Manchester United, in particular, see him as a valuable addition to bolster their wide options, especially given the performances of recent signings Jadon Sancho and Antony.

However, Manchester United will face stiff competition from Arsenal and Chelsea in their pursuit of Chiesa. Both clubs are considering making offers to bring the Italian international into their ranks in the coming months.

As the transfer saga unfolds, Chiesa remains at the center of attention, with his future in Serie A uncertain. Whether he stays at Juventus or makes a move to the Premier League, one thing is clear: Federico Chiesa’s talent and potential are undeniable, making him a coveted asset for any top club aiming for success.
