Atletico Madrid Set To Sign A Former Arsenal Player

According to Spanish source Defensa Central, Atletico Madrid has expressed interest in signing Dani Ceballos. There seems to be some uncertainty surrounding the midfielder’s future at Santiago Bernabeu. Their playing time has significantly decreased this season. Ceballos, at the age of 27, finds himself at a pivotal moment in his career.

Ever since Dani Ceballos made the move to Real Madrid from Real Betis in July 2017, he has encountered his fair share of challenges. His journey, once celebrated as one of the world’s top midfield prospects, has unfortunately been characterized by a lack of opportunities. His game time has been limited due to the presence of stellar midfield talents such as Federico Valverde, Luka Modric, and Toni Kroos. Even though Ceballos showed promise during his loan spell at Arsenal, he has had a hard time earning a consistent place in Real Madrid’s starting lineup. So far this season, he’s only played in 21 matches, with a total of just 505 minutes on the pitch.

According to various reports, it seems likely that Ceballos will leave Real Madrid during the upcoming summer transfer window. According to reports, the Merengues are looking for a transfer fee in the range of €18 to €20 million for his release. Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid is keen to secure his services before the start of the 2024–25 season. I can totally see why Atletico Madrid would be interested in Ceballos. The club is looking to bolster its squad over the summer transfer window in order to make another run at the title. Even though he may have had his fair share of frustrations at Real Madrid, there’s no denying that the midfielder is still a valuable asset.

What’s next?

Atletico Madrid is keeping an eye on Ceballos as the summer transfer market approaches, considering him as a potential target. The Rojiblancos are open to spending between €15 and €18 million to secure the services of the Spanish midfielder. I wonder if Real Madrid can actually get €15–18 million for Ceballos. However, it appears probable that the 27-year-old will soon leave Santiago Bernabeu.

Recent reports from sources have revealed that Liverpool have now got an opportunity to sign Goncalo Inacio from Sporting CP. He is one of the players who is wanted by many prestigious clubs in the transfer window. Even Liverpool is one of the suitors who want Goncalo in their team. They have been after him for a long time and have finally got the opportunity to sign him.

Goncalo Inacio has been an integral part of the sporting CP team. He moved to Sporting in 2012 and got his first opportunity in the first team in 2020. From then onwards, Inacio has gone on to become of the best players in the league. He has also earnt his oppotunity to feature in the Portugal National Team. He has a contract with Sporting CP till 2027. Many teams are after him in the summer. So, Sporting may definitely want to sell him and generate a big profit.
