€20m Left Back Is Close To Joining Arsenal

Ferdi Kadioglu’s acquisition by Arsenal during the summer transfer window is supposedly coming closer. Discussions about personal matters are still going strong. News of Arsenal’s interest in the adaptable left-back was first reported by Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri.

Ferdi Kadioglu has established himself this season in the Turkish Super Lig. The 24-year-old, who was born in Arnhem, grew up in the Netherlands and played junior international football for that nation. He decided, nonetheless, to play adult football for Turkey, and he made his debut in June 2022. Though Kadioglu is mostly a left-back, he is also a versatile holding midfielder and right-back. In 49 games played this season, he has scored three goals and provided five assists.

The Premier League in particular has taken notice of Kadioglu’s exploits. His next move may be to Arsenal as the summer transfer window draws near. Interest in Kadioglu by the Gunners makes sense. They need a left-back badly. Oleksandr Zinchenko has performed erraticly, and Arsenal is expecting to lose Kieran Tierney, who is on loan at Real Sociedad. Kadioglu is the kind of left-back Arsenal needs. According to Tavolieri, there are continuing discussions over personal conditions and the Dutch-born midfielder is almost ready to join Arsenal. Arsenal hasn’t yet initiated talks with Kadioglu’s present team, Fenerbahce, however.

This leaves opportunity for conjecture and rivalry from other teams. If Arsenal were to get Kadioglu’s signature, they will have to move fast. The Gunners find him appealing as they want to strengthen their team for the next campaign because of his flexibility and current form. Whether Arsenal is able to close the deal and bring Kadioglu to North London will become clear in the next weeks. Arsenal would have a major need addressed by his possible arrival, which would give their defense depth and quality. Watching attentively as the transfer window opens will be both fans and experts.

I find Ferdi Kadioglu of Arsenal interesting. Being able to play right-back, holding midfielder, and left-back makes him an invaluable player. Tierney is probably going to go and Zinchenko is playing inconsistently, so Kadioglu might close a big gap. He proved he could manage pressure with his strong performance in the Turkish Super Lig. Arsenal must, nonetheless, move quickly. Fenerbahce and them haven’t begun discussions yet, and other teams may step in. Arsenal’s defence will become much stronger if they manage to get Kadioglu. For the Gunners going into the next season, this may be a wise decision.

More news:

Arsenal made Real Madrid a €45 million bid for their 19-year-old wonderkid Arda Guler. Arsenal was hoping to get the gifted midfielder. However, Real Madrid is not going to sell him just now. The Spanish giants only think about a loan transfer to help him grow, claims Fichajes. Arda Guler was acquired by Real Madrid from Fenerbahce over the summer. Their payment for the youthful talent was not much. President of Real Madrid Florentino Perez recognized promise in Guler and granted the player’s team permission to pay an extra amount to help Fenerbahce.

Though Guler was sought after by other teams, Perez saw him as essential to Real Madrid’s future. Even with his little playing time since his arrival, Guler has showed signs of promise. Out of his four goals, three came in his previous four games. Arsenal’s latest offer demonstrates their desire in a young, developing offensive midfielder. They have shown curiosity in Xavi Simons as well. Real Madrid, however, turned down the deal. They said that they don’t want to trade Guler this summer or most likely next. The Spanish team is not trying to turn a fast buck off of a player who has had injury problems this season. They should think about loaning him out instead to support his growth.
