AC Milan Set To Beat Arsenal For An Important Signing

Arsenal: Joshua Zirkzee of Bologna is almost signed by AC Milan. The 23-year-old Dutch attacker seems certain to move teams during the next transfer window. Zirkzee had an amazing Serie A season, scoring 11 goals and dishing out five assists in 34 games played. His efforts enabled Thiago Motta’s side to qualify for the Champions League in the next season. Top teams noticed Zirkzee’s exploits. Leading the competition for his signing are Arsenal and AC Milan. Milan is supposedly almost done with the transaction, according to sources. They’ll pay the teenage striker’s release clause. Talks concerning contract specifics are still continuing strong even though no deal has been completed yet.

Milan has the advantage in talks since Zirkzee seems to prefer sticking in Serie A. Arsenal, however, also showed great interest. They discussed possible relocation to North London with Zirkzee’s and Bologna’s representatives. The Premier League team offered a deal that would expire in 2029, but AC Milan seems ready to sign the Dutch player. With Milan leading the way, Arsenal could turn their attention elsewhere. They are allegedly now interested in Benjamin Sesko of RB Leipzig. Many elite teams are showing interest in the talented Slovenian striker. Before the 2024–25 season begins, Mikel Arteta needs a new striker, and Sesko would be a good fit. Great potential is shown by his recent results in Germany.

Top talent is still hotly contested between AC Milan and Arsenal as the transfer window draws near. Possible Zirkzee acquisition by Milan might greatly increase their attacking options. Arsenal, meanwhile, is determined to improve their team for the next season, as shown by their chase of Sesko.

Julián Alvarez of Manchester City is the target of Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain. The Argentine forward is seen by both teams as a vital signing for the summer transfer window. Though Manchester City is reluctant to let him leave, Alvarez wants more playing time in the next campaign. Ever since he joined Manchester City from River Plate in 2022, Alvarez has had an incredible adventure. He was bought up by the Premier League winners in January. But for the first half of that year, he was loaned back to River Plate. Ever then, the 24-year-old has advanced significantly, displaying his skills and seizing opportunities.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup triumph by Argentina in Qatar was mostly due to Alvarez. His performance at the club level was outstanding in 2023–24, when he scored 19 goals and provided 13 assists in 54 games played in all competitions. Even with his outstanding performance, Alvarez wants to play more games in 2024–25. Leading European teams like Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain have taken notice of his pursuit of consistent playing time.

It seems logical why Chelsea is want Julian Alvarez. Looking to strengthen their offense for the 2024–25 campaign, the Blues are looking for a striker. Alvarez is seen by them as a suitable acquisition to help them contend for a top-four position. But Paris Saint-Germain is also looking for a trustworthy attacker. The Ligue 1 winners must cover for Kylian Mbappe’s departure to Real Madrid. Alvarez sticks out as a viable choice for PSG among the other possible alternatives, including Lautaro Martinez.
