Arsenal Makes Decision As Bayern Munich Wants The Youngster

The gifted youth player Chido-Obi Martin presents Arsenal with a challenge. Bayern Munich has shown interest in the youthful striker, and the club wants to retain him. Arsenal is waiting for Martin to decide and is keen to hang onto him, according to The Evening Standard. Martin is a bright Danish young star who has performed well up until U-18. Bayern Munich has offered an offer that is luring the youngster to relocate.

Arsenal obviously wants to keep Martin. His notable efforts with the U-16s and U-18s this season have been exceptional. His skill is shown by his 10 goals in one U-16 game versus Liverpool. Since then, he has advanced to the U-18s, where he keeps proving himself. Notwithstanding his achievements, interest from other big teams makes his future at Arsenal dubious.

Martin piqued Real Madrid’s attention recently. Bayern Munich seems to be the most serious competitor at the moment, while Borussia Dortmund has also shown interest. Martin would have had to make a difficult choice if they had extended him a big contract. Arsenal has responded with a scholarship agreement that, at Martin’s 17th birthday, will become a professional contract.

Martin may go to Bayern if he so wants since, as a Danish, he is not subject to Brexit laws. Arsenal wants to persuade him to remain and try to get into Mikel Arteta’s first squad. The team wants to further his career within their system and considers him as a part of their future ambitions.

Martin may still end up at Bayern Munich, however. According to trustworthy sources, a switch to the German giants may occur shortly. Things become more complicated by the way the Gunners treats its young players under Arteta. With few exceptions, Arteta has not often promoted youth players to the main squad. Martin can be influenced by this lack of promotion and start to mistrust his prospects of advancing at Arsenal.

Arsenal is not advantaged in this respect by the statistics. Young players on the team may believe that there is no way they can make the first squad. This might make Martin give Bayern’s offer more thought. Martin finds an appealing choice at Bayern Munich, which is renowned for nurturing youthful talent.

Arsenal has have to deal with this. They have to work out how to give their young players hope for their future with the team. It would be a declaration of determination that Arsenal respects their youthful potential to keep Martin. Future performance of the team will depend on their capacity to retain talented players like Martin.

Finally, Arsenal has to make a decision on Chido-Obi Martin. Important European teams are interested in the gifted striker; Bayern Munich is one of them. Arsenal wants to retain him and has made an offer. Martin’s choice, however, could be influenced by the club’s history of elevating young players under Arteta. Martin will make his decision on whether to join Bayern Munich or remain with Arsenal in the next weeks. Both Arsenal supporters and the team will be hoping for a good result that will keep one of their best prospects with the team.
