AC Milan Is Not Willing To Sign The Chelsea Midfielder

Chelsea news: Summertime, AC Milan showed interest in Chelsea’s 20-year-old midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka. Recent Teamtalk findings, however, show that the Serie A team has chosen to abandon searching for fresh talent.  Chelsea valued Chukwuemeka at £40 million; his contract contains a release clause. AC Milan is reluctant to commit that kind of money on him even with his promise. Although the Rossoneri want to improve their team, they value seasoned players who can start right away at a top level.

AC Milan Is Not Willing To Sign The Chelsea Midfielder

Chukwuemeka isn’t worth £40 million right now even if he may become a good player in the future. Declining any loan bids for the midfielder, Chelsea also said they regard him as a potential value. Chukwuemeka’s future actions remain unknown. Chelsea could choose to retain him for another season, where with the proper direction he might become a major player. Still, he needs constant first-team play if he is to grow. A loan relocation would help everyone concerned and enable him to get vital experience.

With Chelsea’s present midfield well-stocked, Chukwuemeka could find it difficult to get consistent playing time next season. He may participate in cup matches, but he needs more important playing chances if he is to keep developing as a player. A loan period could provide him the experience and exposure he needs.

Although the chance to sign Chukwuemeka would have been enticing for AC Milan, their financial limitations and Chelsea’s expectations make the agreement doubtful unless the conditions alter. Milan wants to get back to their past glory in Italian football, hence they must strike the appropriate mix between seasoned players and new stars.

Although AC Milan’s interest in Chukwuemeka has waned, Chelsea’s opinion of the player is uncompromising. For Chukwuemeka, a loan transfer may be the best result as it would enable him to grow and get useful experience somewhere else than Stamford Bridge.

A new midfielder during this transfer window of top importance for the Gunners. Still, they appear more concerned in fortifying their defense initially. Following Riccardo Calafiori’s outstanding achievements for his club and national team, Mikel Arteta’s squad is about to sign Bologna’s player. Arsenal is still talking with Bologna, who are want about £42 million for the Italian defender; they have agreed on personal terms with Calafiori.

Once Arsenal closes the Calafiori contract, they could focus on a new midfielder. Recent rumors have connected them to Bruno Guimaraes, Martin Zubimendi, and Amadou Onana among other names. Still, Neves has now been a major focus. O Jogo says Arsenal has shown interest in Neves and could formally offer in the next weeks. Neves, 19, signed a deal with £85 million in release value. Any team wanting to sign him would therefore have to satisfy this heavy clause to guarantee his transfer.
