When Will Emile Smith Rowe Join Fulham?

Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith Rowe seems destined for Fulham this summer. Renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano claims the two clubs are in intense conversation right now. Confirming these conversations, Mikel Arteta has indicated that the relocation may be finished very soon. Product of the Arsenal youth, Smith Rowe has had difficult regular playing time. Martin Odegaard is clearly ahead of him in the pecking order, hence Smith Rowe has to make a change to start his career again. Fulham presents him with an opportunity for regular football, much needed.

When Will Emile Smith Rowe Join Fulham?

Smith Rowe, 24, is still a highly rated player even with his recent setbacks. His adaptability lets him play wide and as a center attacking midfielder. He was a very important Arsenal player under Unai Emery, displaying his promise. Still, ailments have hindered his development. Now a new start at Fulham may be just what he needs. It makes sense Fulham’s curiosity on Smith Rowe. Last season they struggled in offense; so, they need goals from midfield and imagination. One can get both from Smith Rowe. Fulham’s team would benefit much from his ability to seize opportunities and score.

Smith Rowe, despite his early age, has shown his best performance capability. The management of Fulham will want to completely release such potential. Regular Premier League playing time will enable Smith Rowe to restore his best form. Fulham’s competitive team and goals for a top-half finish indicate this to be a good direction for both sides.

Everyone engaged gains from this, in my view. For Smith Rowe to keep developing, he needs consistent football; Fulham depends on his goalscoring power and imagination. Should Fulham be able to maximize his potential, this acquisition may turn out to be among the smartest ones of the summer. Smith Rowe just needs the stage to highlight his skill; he is gifted.

Unless they pay Newcastle‘s full demands, Arsenal can probably scratch Bruno Guimaraes off their transfer list. His friend Joelinton says Bruno should remain put. Many felt the midfielder would depart St. James’ Park, particularly since his £100 million release clause was active between May and June. Fans of Premier League teams were buzzing over a possible move to a top team at that time.

The window of time to trigger the release clause has closed, however. Still, Teamtalk notes Arsenal and Manchester City still want to purchase him for £80 million, £20 million less than the expired clause. Although Bruno wants to leave Newcastle on amicable terms, Teamtalk also mentions his desire in joining a Champions League club. Arsenal has to strengthen their midfield; they want to match someone energetic with Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard. Joelinton’s comments, however, show Bruno looking forward another season with the Magpies.

Joelinton said, “I believe Bruno will be staying. He assures me he will be returning next week [after a vacation following Copa America] to get ready for the season. I know him; he is a club enthusiast. He likes his life in Newcastle and adores the supporters. Apart from football, he seems happy to remain here for his lifetime.”
