Latest Update On Victor Osimhen To Arsenal

With the Nigerian striker ready to depart Napoli this summer, Arsenal have once again been fascinated in Victor Osimhen. Targeting Osimhen, Mikel Arteta could have re-entered the striker market according to Corriere dello Sport. Chelsea also stays interested in the Nigerian, who they have been admiring for some time.

Recent rumors about Arsenal looking for a new striker have been somewhat popular. Arteta had already discussed a center-forward, but the urgency had dropped as the Gunners concentrated on fortifying other areas. Arsenal seems to be reevaluating some of their past targets as Riccardo Calafiori’s transfer almost confirmed. Viktor Gyokeres has resurfaced as a possible choice, and Osimhen is once again under observation.

Latest Update On Victor Osimhen To Arsenal

Arsenal apparently asked Osimhen a new question when his PSG transfer fell-through. The only team with real interest was PSG; nevertheless, Napoli’s €100 million to €130 million asking price destroyed those chances. Arsenal may not have the means to commit so significantly on one player this window, thus it is unknown whether they can fulfill this price.

Osimhen piques Chelsea’s curiosity, same as Arsenal’s. Long loved by the Blues, the attacker demands a big pay raise from his present €10 million annually at Napoli. Though Napoli has strong transfer needs, Chelsea stays in the mix having suggested player swaps including Romelu Lukaku. Napoli, on the other hand, is adamant about Lukaku’s assessment of Osimhen and wants a different agreement.

The circumstances puts Osimhen’s future on precarious balance. The financial pressures from Napoli and the strategic issues of possible bidders like Arsenal and Chelsea complicate things as he waits for his intended transfer.

Osimhen is clearly a talent, and Arsenal’s need for a prolific striker fits his ambition for a fresh challenge. The budgetary limitations make this arrangement difficult, however. Should Arsenal be able to reach a reasonable compromise, Osimhen might revolutionize the Gunners. They may thus have to search elsewhere or focus on other areas. This story illustrates the complexity of contemporary football transactions, when financial feasibility and talent must precisely line up.

More news:

The Gunners have agreed Fulham to sign Emile Smith Rowe for £34 million. For both teams, the agreement represents a big change. Before signing his deal at Craven Cottage, Smith Rowe will shortly be flying for his medical appointment.

2020 saw Smith Rowe, an Arsenal youth graduate join the senior team. He first surprised but battled with ailments. He struggled to get frequent playing time under Mikel Arteta. Last season he was fit, although he only participated in 19 games, accumulating fewer than 500 minutes on the field. Angry by the lack of possibilities, Smith Rowe looked for a change to provide more regular first-team performance.

Arsenal decided to let him go, after their financial needs were satisfied. Fulham saw a chance and went for the offensive midfielder 24 years old. Having difficulties in the last third last season, Fulham wants to improve their offensive options. With Andreas Pereira already in their ranks as a number ten, Smith Rowe may fight for that position or play on the flanks, therefore offering variation to their team.

Smith Rowe’s move to Fulham marks a step toward consistent playing time and major contribution to his new squad. With this acquisition, Fulham is clearly aiming for top half of the league this season. Smith Rowe is their club record signing with the £34 million agreement, which comprises £7 million in add-ons and £27 million as a set price.
