Retain Or Cash In?
Jack Wilshere, the youth icon player of Arsenal is not getting his regular chance in the first eleven of Arsenal in most of the games for Arsenal. Wilshere’s career was highly affected by injury woes most of the times. He was being loaned to Bournemouth previous season and he came back to the Arsenal team this season by the club management. The scenario of his stay in the first eleven of Arsenal has been worsened. He is not in the starting XI in the Premier League matches as Wenger is trying to play two different first eleven for Premier League and Europa League. The player was not called up in the England squad by the current English manager Southgate as the player was not getting regular chances in the first eleven of the Arsenal team.
Wilshere told that at this moment, he had been concentrating on the now. The future would take care of itself. All he had got to do is stay fit & play his game.
The player wants to stay at club and he has said that many times.Wilshere also said that he had just come back to full fitness.
The Arsenal youth star is happy with where he is, playing-wise and he is trying to get into the Premier League team.
Jack Wilshere expressed his grief for not playing for the country. He also stated that he wanted to play for my country.
He also acknowledged that it’s down to the manager. The English manager Southgate didn’t select Wilshere as in Southgate’s opinion the midfielder would need more football to make a comeback in the England National side.
Despite Willshere’s eagerness to stay in the club, the club might end up selling the player in the winter transfer window as Mesut Ozil had expressed his desire to get the no 10 Jersey of Wilshere to increase his contract period for Arsenal.
The no 10 Jersey will increase the brand value of Ozil in future. So Arsenal club management can try to retain Mesut Ozil in the club by giving him the Jersey of Wilshere.
Arsenal can get a good buyer Club for Wilshere in January in the form of Fenerbahce. Former Arsenal man Robin Van Persie plays for the club and they need to buy a creative midfielder in the January transfer window.
Wilshere has quick movement, vision, passing and combination play, as well as his leadership on the pitch. So he will be a perfect choice for Fenerbahce to increase creativity in the midfield. So we can expect the Arsenal fan favourite Jack Wilshere leaving the club in the winter transfer window, with the Turkish giants making him their top priority.
The Pundits VS Wenger-
While the pundits do feel that Wilshere is one of the key players who can revive the Gunners, there might be a difference of opinion in the manager’s mind, though he has not sold the Englishman thus far. If Wenger does have faith in his midfield superstar, then he might retain him for a season or two, though a really good offer might make him sell off the play-maker, who has been struggling with injuries.
