Forster was expected to play as the goalkeeper for Southampton in this match. Cedric, Hoedt, Van Dijk and Bertrand will be in the defense for Southampton. Romeu, Davis, Redmond, Tadic and Boufal will be there in the midfield in this match against Liverpool. Gabbiadini will play as a lone striker in the upfront for them.

The end result was a 3-0 win for the Merseyside outfit at Anfield for the hosts, who will now be confident and will try their best to keep winning matches and pushing for a title challenge. Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and United, were all winners this week, with Spurs losing to the Gunners.

The Merseyside outfit will now face off against Sevilla in the upcoming fixture of the Champions League, as they look to secure qualification to the knockout stages of the competition. It will be a tough few weeks ahead for Klopp and his team, who will be fighting to stay alive in these competitions and eventually in order to hope to win them.
They have some big games coming up including the ones against Chelsea, Everton and Arsenal, prior to the year end and will want to take back maximum points from these fixtures. It will be interesting to see how things develop now.
