Five Top Premier League Players Barcelona Should Sign This Summer

The world is now busy with the greatest show on Earth. Fifa World Cup 2018 is taking place at Russia. This is a historical moment for the football universe as VAR is first taking place in this tournament of the world stage. Many new faces may brighten up and many stars may fall, but most importantly many names may rise again from their ashes like a phoenix. Though football is a team game and may the deserving side clinch the crown.

The club season is now on hold, but not for the scouts and management. Real Madrid once again proved themselves last time and became the Europe Champion for three times in a row. Though Barcelona managed to have a brilliant domestic season with La Liga and Copa del Rey, again they failed to progress beyond the quarters in the race to become Europe champions. This season would be even tougher for the Blaugrana nation as their grandfather Andres Iniesta left the side last time. He got a memorable farewell in the end game of last season and won’t be featured again in the blue and red outfit.

Barcelona needs to find some alternatives this season in the midfield here are some options they can apply from the English Premier League.

Eden Hazard:

Undoubtedly the best in Premier League. He has that aura of the world-class player who can deliver any side the complete touch. He is as good as Messi to watch with the flair and dribbling skills that he has. On the wing for Barcelona is a big possibility that haunts Chelsea fans every day. Though he is heavily linked to the Los Blancos.

Christian Eriksen:

People overlooks him between Harry Kane and Dele Alli. He is a natural goal creator and would be an asset to any team. He would be a tailor fit for Barcelona. The absence of Iniesta at Barcelona can be minimised by this guy only.

David Silva:

This Spanish winger would be just what Barcelona needs at this moment. Silva would have been a better option that underperformed Dembele. Though he is one the favourite pupils of Guardiola, this Manchester City attacker could be an elite addition for the La Liga champions.

Paul Pogba:

A perfect midfielder for any team. He is the guy who is still going to improve and possibilities are enormous. There is no denying that he has already emblemed his name in English Premier League. Though Mourinho may not allow his departure from United, he is a perfect CM for any team.

Hector Bellerin:

Bellerin was rumoured to be a priority target for Barcelona before they landed Nelson Semedo last summer. Though, the Spanish side may look into pursuing the Arsenal defender again this summer.
Sergio Roberto is planned to be used in midfield and Nelson Semedo doesn’t look assured enough till now. Therefore, the Spaniard would be a much-valued addition to the team’s XI.

There are many examples where the English Premier League players have successfully portrayed their showdowns in La Liga and Barcelona. Apart from Luis Suarez, there are Sylvinho, Thierry Henry, Mascherano, Quaresma, Deulofeu, Pedro, Victor Valdes and lot others. Players from Premier League are tough and can be a great purchase of bought wisely.
