“Roman Doesn’t Know What He Is Doing”, An Angry Chelsea Fan’s Rant At The Idea Of Antonio Conte’s Sacking

So, now it is confirmed that Antonio Conte will no longer be the manager of Chelsea anymore in the next season. It was really a big blow to the Blues as it was really disgraceful for any manager to be sacked after winning one Premier League and one FA Cup in back to back two seasons.

It was surely incoming and Antonio Conte also knew about the situation. The owner of Chelsea FC, Roman Abramovich do not want to continue with the manager if he does not able to bring success in every season. But the scenario of Antonio Conte is slightly different. Antonio Conte has been sacked despite winning the FA Cup in the previous season with the Blues. There might be several reasons available for Roman Abramovich to sack Antonio Conte despite having one year left in his contract. The Blues were not able to finish in the top four positions in the League Table in the Premier League this season. So, they will not play in the Champions League in the next season. It is not very much likely for a top club like Chelsea FC to not participate in the Champions League in a season.

As, the Blues are not in the Champions League, it will affect them in the transfer market as most of the top players will not wish to play for the Blues in the next season. Chelsea FC had a great chance to finish in the top four positions in the Premier League table in the previous season. But some stubborn decisions made by Antonio Conte had ruled them out of the contention from the top four race in the Premier League. The Blues were also out of the contention from the UEFA Champions League following the defeat against Barcelona in the round of 16 clash. So, it was quite obvious that after this performance the manager of Chelsea FC, Antonio Conte will be sacked.

The footballing world is really cruel sometimes. If we can go two years back we will see that Chelsea FC have finished in 10th position in the Premier League in 2015-16 season after winning the Premier League title back in 2014-15 season under the management of ‘The Special One’ – Jose Mourinho. The Portuguese manager was also sacked in the middle of the 2915-16 season as the Blues were almost in the relegation zone at that point of time.

So, we can say that the manager changing is not a very much new thing in terms of Chelsea FC. Antonio Conte took the charge of the team from there and made them the Champions of England. In the next season, things have not gone in his way and Antonio Conte is going to be sacked from the managerial position of Chelsea FC. Is it going to be good for the Blues? Is it going to give any kind of stability to the team? Is this the reason why they are not consistent in Europe? The questions will be raised and only time can answer those.
