Wow! Chelsea All Set To Complete Their First Summer Signing Finally

Chelsea club management are eyeing to make a move for the Juventus star centre back Daniele Rugani in this summer transfer window. The club management were eager to make it before the announcement of their new manager. But it is seeming that the player will not sign any deal before the confirmation of the new manager of Chelsea FC. The agent of the player has confirmed the interest of Chelsea FC to sign this 23 year young Italian centre-back in this summer transfer window.

Daniele Rugani had a great season in the 2017-18 campaign as he had won both the Serie A title and Coppa Italia in the previous season with Juventus. The pair of Daniele Rugani and Chiellini have given Juventus the stability that was much needed for them to win both the League and the Cup in the season. The Serie A champs have another centre back awaiting in the reserve bench named the Morocco’s International footballer Mehdi Benatia. So, Daniele Rugani was not regular in the Juventus Starting lineup in the last half of the season. Mehdi Benatia also played his part in the previous season in the central defense for defense along with Chiellini. Now, Daniele Rugani will wish to go to a top European club in the next season where he will get more chances to play first team football in the next season.

Maurizio Sarri is going to be confirmed as the new manager of Chelsea FC within few days before the beginning of the new season. According to various sources, Daniele Rugani is going to be the first signing of this summer transfer window for the Blues. The Italian centre back is in the top of the wis-hlist of Maurizio Sarri in this summer transfer window. The arrival of Daniele Rugani is really needed for Chelsea FC?

Chelsea FC were playing with a 3-4-3 formation in the previous season. So, there were the need of three centre backs in the defense of the Blues. The Blues have already Christensen, Gary Cahill, Antonio Rudiger, Cesar Azpilicueta and David Luiz in their squad to in the central defense. Moreover, Kurt Zouma will be back from one year loan spell from Stoke City. So, basically there was no need for going towards another centre back. If they were willing to go for a centre back option, they might opt to go for an experienced campaigner rather than an young defender.

Maurizio Sarri will try to implement his 4-3-3 formation in the next season for the Blues. Sarri will like to go with two centre backs and in this circumstances, it will be a tough choice for him to select only two centre backs among so many talented centre backs available in the squad. But the club management will try to provide the best possible support to the new manager Maurizio Sarri as they will go all out to clinch the Premier League title next season. It will also increase their squad depth which will help them in the Europa League too.
