Breaking: Fans Not Happy With This Decision By Chelsea, Though Abramovich Has Final Say

Antonio Conte

Antonio Conte has finally been sacked from Chelsea FC. It was a great journey till date with the Italian tactical maestro in last two seasons. When the guy came to take the charge of the Blues, Chelsea FC had finished at the tenth position in the League Table in the Premier League in the previous season. The morale of the team were too much down. It was really unbelievable from a side like Chelsea FC to finish at the tenth position in the League Table. The players had lost all their self confidence. They have no belief within themselves to prove them once again in the big stage.

At this point of time, Chelsea FC have hired a new manager Antonio Conte who was also in charge of the Italian National side before taking the managerial job of the London based club. The tactical genius of Antonio Conte had helped Italy to beat Spain in the Euro 2016. The fans were hopeful that this man is the right one for the club. After that, he came to manage the club before the beginning of the 2016-17 campaign. There were no major signings in the summer transfer window of that season. The big players did not wish to come to Chelsea FC as they were not willing to come to Stamford Bridge as there were no chance of playing European football for the Blues in that season. But, Antonio Conte came on top and conquered in England. The Blues have lost against Liverpool and Arsenal in the first half of the season. After that, Antonio Conte has changed the formation to 3-4-3. The Blues had not to look back behind after that change. The Blues have won the Premier League with ease in that season. They were also on the verge of winning FA Cup in that season. But, they had unexpectedly lost against the Gunners in the FA Cup Final.

After the defeat in the FA Cup Final, there were several questions over the strategy of Antonio Conte. The speculations were going on whether they would be able to retain the Premier League title in the next season. The club management were not able to bring the new players in the summer transfer window and the problem between Antonio Conte and the Board had begun. Chelsea FC had released two of their important players Nemanja Matic and Diego Costa in the summer transfer window in the previous season. They were not able to bring in perfect replacements for these two players. As a result Chelsea FC had finished in the fifth position in the League Table in the Premier League. Though they were able to win the FA Cup in that season. Despite winning Premier League and FA Cup in two consecutive seasons, Antonio Conte was sacked from the managerial job at Chelsea FC. There will be the beginning of the Maurizio Sarri’s era at the Stamford Bridge. Will he be able to take Chelsea FC again on the top? – only time can answer this.
