Real Madrid Make Offer For Chelsea’s Eden Hazard, Though The Belgian’s Dreams Could Be Shattered?

Los Blancos are ready to let go of Frenchman Karim Benzema in a bizarre swap deal for Blues superstar Eden Hazard, after losing Cristiano Ronaldo to Serie A champions Juventus for €105m this summer. Real Madrid are in a desperate search for a star campaigner, who can fill the void left by Ronaldo and who better to sign than the Belgian international.

The Blues are however clear in their stance and will not part ways with the two time Premier League champion for less than €200m. Real Madrid President Florentino Perez is only interested to pay up to €150m and are not willing to go further, but they have however offered a sweetener and that is none other than Ronaldo’s misfiring team-mate Karim Benzema.

The Galacticos belive that it is not worth to offer a potentially world record fee of €200m for a player who’s contract runs out in 2020 and though they wish to find a suitable replacement for their talisman, they would like to keep their options open.

Chelsea are trying to persuade the 27 year to stay at Stamford Bridge and have even offered him a contract rumored to be around €230,000 per week but the Belgian has rejected the renewal and wants to first clear the doubts looming around his future.

Eden Hazard is not the only player required by the European Giants from Chelsea, Real Madrid have also made advances for the Blues No. 1 shot stopper Thibaut Courtois. Courtois in the past has stated his desire to go back and play in Madrid and now he really has a opportunity to go back to the place where his career actually bloomed, The Belgian International spent three successive years in Spain representing Atletico Madrid, He won a silver ware in all of the three seasons. A Europa League, Copa Del Rey and La Liga.

There is no doubt that why Courtois is one of the best keepers in the world currently and Real Madrid might also solve a long term goalkeeping problems if they manage to secure the signature of the big Belgian, Courtios contract runs out next summer so if the Blues want to cash in on him now would be a great time as he can sign for any club for free next January and Madrid might save some money if they are willing to be patient.

Chelsea on the other hand have snapped up Rob Green on a free to provide a cover for Thibaut Courtois and Argentine international Willy Cabelero. Alvaro Morata is also being linked with a switch to AC Milan and Sarri wants to bring in former Real Madrid striker Gonzalo HIguain to replace him at the front.

New Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has also shortlisted a few keepers if they lose Courtios to Real Madrid this summer, Leicester City’s first choice Kasper Schmeichel and last years relegation candidate’s Stoke City’s keeper Jack Butland, but Sarri has asked for Spanish giants Barcelona’s second choice Jasper Cillessen as the Dutchmen could potentially be an undisputed starter elsewhere as Barcelona already posses a world class goalkeeper in Marc-Andre-Ter-Stegen, However the Catalans consider Jasper as un transferable and the only way Chelsea could sign him is to activate his €60m release clause. But will Chelsea let two of their star player leave in one window only time will tell.

Latest Update-

The latest update on the Hazard transfer saga however confirms that the Champions League holders do not want to sign the Chelsea superstar and will only sign Courtois this summer, which will mean heart-break for the winger. The player himself was keen on a move to the Bernabeu and may now have to stay back with the west London side.
