Confirmed: Arsenal’s Star Leaves The Emirates, As Emery Has No Place For Him In The Squad

The transfer window is now closed and all the Premier League clubs are undergoing the second game week of their campaign. Arsenal had their new manager before the season began. Unai Emery joined Arsenal this season from Paris aiming to give the club a decent place in the league table. Though after the 2nd week, it seems quite a difficult job for the Spanish manager to make that happen. Arsenal is trailing at lower spots in the league table and look like a club of funeral. The club is struggling to get three points or even a draw, where they have lost their first two matches in a row. The upper line players are going sloppy and the troublesome situation is not over at the Emirates. Meanwhile the reserve goalkeeper of Arsenal, David Ospina has left the club on a loan deal to Napoli. Arsenal have brought in the German keeper Bernd Leno this season as the alternatives of Petr Cech, which indicated the time for Ospina to leave the Emirates. It is stated that Ospina has left the Emirates and  joined Napoli on a season-long loan. The 29-year-old keeper came to Arsenal in 2014 for about £3m. He came from French side Nice.

Ospina had fallen out of the favour at the Emirates under new boss Unai Emery after the summer signing of the German keeper Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen. Petr Cech is still the first choice at Emirates and started goal for Arsenal in both the matches against  Manchester City and Chelsea.

Ospina is Colombia’s first-choice goalkeeper. He showed some brilliant stuff back in World Cup last month until it was England’s first World Cup penalty shootout success in the last-16 tie, where he was beaten and Colombia went out of the race. In a statement on the club website, Arsenal wished Ospina for his future ventures and posted “the very best” for the season.

The keeper made 70 appearances for the Gunners and won two FA Cups. On the other hand, the Serie A side have been searching for a goalkeeper since the new signing Alex Meret got injury. According to the news, the keeper has broke his arm in training last month. Napoli had been linked with a move for Liverpool’s Simon Mignolet too. Though at the final moment they went for Ospina instead of Mignolet.

Alex Meret and Orestis Karnezis have both joined from Udinese who will be Ospina’s mate in the group of keepers. Napoli sought out these three keepers to replace the departing Pepe Reina, Rafael and Luigi Sepe. Arsenal will face West Ham next Saturday as they will definitely go desperately to bring in the much need three points. Moreover, the side needs to do things as a unit, where the Gunners are failing to put them into a single shell. Arsenal have got a fascinated squad though no one is doing stuff as a single squad. The sloppy misses by Aubameyang and Lacazette upfront should be corrected immediately, where Ozil must take the upper hand to lead the attack.
