Latest Transfer Update Of Star Serie A Midfielder Heavily Linked With Chelsea

Chelsea’s long standing summer target Federico Chiesa may be staying in his homeland but this time with a champions club, Juventus. The Italian champions are in a mood of resurgence as they now brace themselves to be Europe’s best after ruling the domestic league comfortably for last six years. However, Juve had a less than satisfying campaign last time out despite sealing the Serie A title yet again and looks to cover it with more prominence the season now. Their objective of gaining supremacy is reflected in the summer spending where the Turin giants materialized a mega deal of bringing superstar Cristiano Ronaldo from the depth touch of Real Madrid, mending one of the gallant stories to tell. The deal itself speaks a lot.

The Portuguese mega-star is sure to infield his brilliance of scoring goal and directness, having off the mark with two strikes in the weekend, added by his stunning European competition philosophy and mammoth records that is not big anymore. Also seeking the likes of Paulo Dybala, Douglas Costa, Pjanic and Mandzukic from the existing squad, it will be quite a game show for Juve into the season.

The start of what everyone wanted isn’t at the reach at the moment. In spite of having a 100% start to the campaign and tasting victory in the Champions league group stage opener against Valencia, the football they played wasn’t utterly convincing. This can be summarized by lack of goal threat from a centre-forward up front.

Of course, Ronaldo is the biggest threat to any defences in the world but he needs a suitable number nine to link up with his play from the right or left hand side or cutting himself forward between the lines. Even though Bernadeschi and Douglas Costa are storming the wings, an absence of fighting personnel in the middle of the six yard area is felt. The Veteran Croat, Mario Mandzukic is ageing and is fragile finishing is exposed after the departure of strike partner Gonzalo Higuain to Ac Milan. As a case, the Old Lady of Turin are making up a formula. And the solution is Federico Chiesa.

The new Italian prospect is a goal machine in his tender age and the consistency is at high esteem. Chiesa is always looking up for spaces to exploit spaces in defence and lighten up his right foot to shake the net multiple times. But the case that makes him so special is his ability to get into position to receive each and every ball deliver towards him with zero circumstances of slowing down.

Plus, he can deploy himself as a winger or a midfielder to handle tough situations. A great hit in the youth setup of Fiorentina, Chiesa is now storming the upfront for the senior side. He also earned International caps with Italy in the UEFA Nations league against Poland and Portugal, winning a crucial penalty in the former. This star in build is now added to wish list of Bianconeri with €60m on offer. This will certainly help Juventus to romp up the lacklustre forward line but will engage themselves in a fiery battle with Premier league outfit Chelsea for his transfer.

Maurizio Sarri too has some concern in the striking position at Stamford Bridge with Morata making no sign of turning the coin head. The Spaniard misfiring has now turned out to be a regular issue for goals seem to have dried out from his boots. Giroud is there to overcome some of the troubles out there but he is not that colossus anymore to play throughout the ninety minutes. But Chiesa is and Chelsea will be in dire strait soon to complete his signature in the month of January or next summer.

Adding to that race, Napoli has already asked for the winger’s transfer request.  It is believed that the side from Naples have a close relationship with the club and may be the unsung winner in the race. But the sky blue shirt’s spending strength isn’t immaculate as the other two.

Now it is deciding time for Chiesa on his future call. If Napoli becomes the crush, then the Fiorentina man will have time to adjust his career steadily. Step by step he can make the best out of himself in a developing that have some firm ambition in seasons to come. But this will prevent the chance of playing with world class players like Ronaldo and Dybala and winning trophies that will define anyone’s career. Or the English league with its lucrative affair would prove enough for this growing talent to make himself name sung everywhere.
