He established his dominance via a first-ball six that which got stuck in a tree. His destructive batting performance impressed everyone. In today’s match of Sydney Sixers and Melbourne Renegades, Jason Holder once again proved his explosive batting abilities by single-handedly changing the game in the last over.

Table-toppers Sydney Sixers took on Melbourne Renegades on Tuesday with hopes of bettering their points tally. Melbourne Renegades won the toss and elected to bat first. Coming on to bat, openers Aaron Finch and Shawn Marsh gave Renegades a dream start. They played a 50+ partnership and gave their team the required momentum.

The Story Of The BBL 2020 Game And What A Finish!?

Although Aaron Finch got sent off by Dan Christian on 39, Shawn Marsh went on to play a Fabulous knock of 67 off 48. He was also the highest run-scorer of the match. However, the other batsmen of Melbourne Renegades could not utilise the platform that their openers provided them. All of them scored less than 20 runs. Thanks to the opening partnership, Melbourne Renegades were able to reach the score of 168/6. Among the bowlers of Sydney Sixers, Dan Christian bowled an appreciable spell. He took a couple of wickets at an expense of 19 runs.

Coming on to chase, Sydney Sixers also got a decent start. Opener Jose Phillipe misses his half-century by just two runs. Jordan Silk also played a great knock of 31 off  23. But that was all that the Sidney middle order had. The low run rate that the middle order was maintaining, took a toll over them in the death overs of the match.

So much so that they had to make 16 runs in the last over. However, the West Indian run machine Jason Holder was batting at that time. Sydney Strikers are now unbeaten for four matches straight. Although they are table toppers, second-placed Melbourne Stars have just a point less. The Strikers will thus have to be very aware. In the next match, the team from Sidney will face sixth-placed Brisbane Heats. Heats have played a match less than Strikers. After losing three consecutive matches, Brisbane Heats finally made a comeback in their last match with a victory and will look to continue their winning run by defeating Sydney Strikers.

The big bash league is midway completed and there have been many jam-packed performances in the season so far.
