Jadon Sancho has been on fire since he became a regular starter under Lucien Favre last season. The 19-year-old was the highest assist provider in the Bundesliga last season. He’s very calm, composed on the ball and is very pacy. He has very brilliant decision making for his age and is a superstar in the making for sure. He has already made his debut for English national team and has been shining for the national colours too. He has made his name among the most promising players in his age destined to have a brilliant career ahead of him, having been consistently performing at the club and national colours for quite some time now.

Such performances are destined to attract interest from all over Europe. Manchester United, have been linked with the youngster throughout the summer and the club officials in Dortmund made it official that the Red Devils had made contact for the signature of the youngster.

“A hot topic right now is Sancho and Manchester United,” Sporting Director Michael Zorc is quoted as saying in the Amazon Prime documentary.

“Both his discussions with the club and mine with the consultants.

“A meeting did take place. Manchester United invited the consultant.

“But according to what I know, the consultant told the club that no matter how much money they offer, we won’t let him go this summer.

“But the player also has no intention of taking that step this summer.”

The on-song winger has once again started his campaign in brilliant fashion having scored 2 times and assisted 5 more in the current Bundesliga season. Borussia Dortmund have strengthened their squad by signing the likes of Julian Brandt, Thorgan Hazard, Nico Schulz and Mats Hummels which have given them much needed squad depth and experience which will help them challenge on all fronts.

Jadon Sancho’s performances will only be garnering more attention from clubs across Europe in the coming days to come. If Borussia Dortmund decide to sell him next summer, there is going to a lot of bidders for the English starlet and he might be surely able to fetch a fee which will be close to the world record of €222m which Paris Saint-Germain paid to FC Barcelona for the signing of Neymar a couple of seasons ago. That would be a massive massive profit for the yellow blacks who had paid just €8m for the signing of the English starlet a couple of seasons ago from Manchester City.

He has a contract at the Signal Iduna Park till June 30, 2022, and nothing would be more welcome for the yellow-blacks if he indeed decides to stay beyond his current contract period. Dortmund are known for their excellent scouting network and have successfully kept on signing bright youngsters from across the world season after season in recent times.

Jadon Sancho’s exit might just pave the way for another starlet to prove his worth at Borussia Dortmund in the seasons to come. Now it is to be seen how things turn out for the English youngster in the coming days.
