Indian fans miss former skipper, MS Dhoni. Well, at least many of them do. With that being said, a CSK player proved to be a difference-maker in the second ODI between India and Sri Lanka. The player was none other than all-rounder Deepak Chahar, who blasted India to an epic victory with the bat.

It was a brilliant performance with the bat. He scored 69 off 82 balls to help the team win the game. Team India won the three-match series 2-0 and credit to Deepak Chahar for the win. It was a great match to watch and the Indian fans loved it. What a batting performance!!

There were some instances in his batting that the player reminded the fans of former Indian skipper MS Dhoni. This gave the Indian cricket fans a feeling of nostalgia.

It was a brilliant knock and no one saw it coming. The ex-cricketers and Pundits were all praise for the player. He had single-handedly won Team India the match. With that being said, it was enough to bag the series against the hosts as well.

Well, it was great to see the player credit his mentor, MS Dhoni. Mahi has been an inspiration to a lot of youngsters. He has been the most successful captain for the Indian team ever. With that being said, credit where it is due and the player wasn’t shy to do so.

A great gesture and the fans will be delighted by what they saw from Deepak Chahar on the pitch. He was absolutely brilliant and Team India won a really hard-fought game. Though some of their main stars were missing, this young team delivered when it mattered and that is the best thing that can happen for Indian cricket at present.

MS Dhoni and co. in the CSK camp would be so proud of Chahar as well. They will want him to keep performing like he is at present and help them win more series in the near future. Let’s hope that the player can continue to deliver in the second phase of the IPL 2021 tournament as well.
