Is Cena Considering Permanent Retirement?
In a recent interview, out of all the things that John Cena spoke about, he added a point about potential retirement from the WWE too. This has once again raised speculations about whether or not, he is considering the game for himself too. This has been the talk of the town for quite some time and while talking about the Goldberg vs Undertaker match, the 16 time WWE World Heavyweight champ addressed the issue too.
He stated, “I think an individual’s career is up to the individual. I think that is pretty much the way I can describe that. I have been having the same conversation with myself. I am only 42 but it’s something we have got to address each day. The individual is specific. When those people are ready to stop, they will stop.”
There have been a lot of rumours going around that with Cena’s movie career slowly growing, he may consider staying away from the ring for a long time. Further, he is always open to specific storylines that he feels are good enough for him. Despite that, at the age of 42, not a lot is expected from him and the WWE Universe surely knows that he is just a part-timer now and it is the time for some young blood to rise to the top.
Expressed: Unhappy With The Way 205 Live Is Treated!?
WWE superstar Mike Kanellis expressed his anger recently, suggesting a couple of things. The first of those seemed to be the fact that he is done with the WWE and can’t stand the direction that the company is taken.
The second was a stand that he took for 205 Live and suggested that the company doesn’t care for its show, which features the cruiser-weights and further added that this weeks show was better than Monday Night Raw.
With the company’s ace show already struggling with its ratings, this will be something that may not please them now. They would not want such comments from one of their superstars and it will be quite interesting to see the repercussions that he suffers in the days to come.
New SmackDown Live Logo?
Has SmackDown Live decided to change its logo, as it makes the switch to FOX? The answer is a big YES!! YES!! YES!!
As the show looks to make a move to Fox, a new advertisement for the same was featured recently. This showcased the new Logo, suggesting that the change as imminent. Below is an image of the same.
The one noticeable change that was prominent was the fact that the word “Live” wasn’t visible anymore and that Kofi Kingston was still shown as the WWE Champion, while Bayley did not have her title. This would have made the fans curious about any future plans that the company may have, with regards to the SmackDown women’s title.
Futher, the “big dog” Roman Reigns was in the picture, along with Charolette Flair. This could possibly mean that Roman may take on Kofi, somewhere down the line and this could be one for the ages. Hopefully, it happens soon!!
