Raw has been a talking point for a week. WWE booked some engaging matches and segments on Raw. WWE is now building up towards The Biggest Party of Summer. Meanwhile, Raw was a fun show and fans would have enjoyed it. Let’s quickly find out, what happened in this week’s episode of WWE Raw.
WWE Raw quick results:
- Randy Orton kicked off Monday Night Raw with fascinating promo. The Viper challenged WWE champion Drew McIntyre for the gold at SummerSlam. He praised former NXT Champion and loved the way he conquered Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36. Drew McIntyre later accepted the challenge. It’s Official, The Scottish Psychopath will be defending his WWE title against The Viper at the August event.
- Nia Jax came into the ring and showed a wish to become Raw Women’s Champion again. She got interrupted by Shayna Baszler and we got a brawl, teasing a match between the two superstars.
- Angel Garza and Andrade defeated Viking Raiders, Ricochet, and Cedric Alexander in a triple threat tag-team contest. They will now be challenging Street Profits at SummerSlam for tag team titles. The team of Angel Garza and Andrade is glaring as a big threat to Street Profits and the tag belts.
- Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler got into action but the bout ended with a double count-out. The brawl continued between to giant female stars, leading to separation by WWE officials. Former NXT women’s champion was looking in much pain.
More updates from the show
- Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy welcomed Dominick Mysterio, but it turned out as a terrible decision for Dominick attacking ‘The Monday Night Messiah’. Aleister Black got injured by Murphy but Dominick returns with a kendo stick and brutally attacked Rollins and his disciple. Dominick would be the biggest menace for the former Universal champion.
- Mustafa Ali got an invitation from US Champion to join the ‘Hurt Business’, but he refused. A contest between Bobby Lashley and former 205 live superstars went on to emerge. Bobby defeated Ali in an impressive manner. This contest reflected a perfect combination of power and speed. Fans would love to see this kind of match in the near future.
- Sasha Banks defeated Asuka to become the new Raw Women’s Champion. Bayley during the match from backstage cost Asuka her title opportunity. A rematch for the title would probably be happening at ‘Biggest Party Of The Summer’.
- Murphy defeated Humberto Carillo in a quick way. Looks like WWE Management is going to give Murphy a singles push. The split of Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy is hardly near.
- WWE Champion Drew McIntyre defeated Dolph Ziggler in an Extreme Rules match with a stunning Claymore kick. After the contest, Randy Orton hit RKO to the champion. The show ended with Randy Orton lifting the WWE title. Randy Orton would easily be the biggest threat for Drew Mcintyre and his historic title reign.
