Pravin Tambe has done it again. The veteran Indian bowler has achieved a feat that not too many people can break. He made a brilliant CPL debut and stunned the world once again. He is at present 48 and it is totally not looking rusty. Another impressive performance for the leg-spinner really got the world talking once again.
Tambe produced two moments of magic in his debut game in the Caribbean Premier League. The first one was a maiden that he bowled to “explosive” batsman Chris Lynn.
This was appreciated by cricket fans across the globe. The fans were delighted by what they had seen and after all the problems that he had faced, the player shone once again.

Another moment of sheer brilliance came when he took a great catch in the covers. Even the CPL’s official handle and the ICC appreciated his efforts. Pravin Tambe really made it look so simple, though it was nothing but.
Such is the charm of the man that he is attracting praises from all across the globe at the age of 48 too. It is not easy being a bowler in a game like cricket at such an age.

The concern for all Indian and IPL fans now-
Based on the stories that had come out last year, Pravin Tambe may now be banned from playing in the IPL. This would be a huge concern for the IPL and Indian Cricket fans, who would have really loved to see him play more.
They will never be able to see him play again if the ban is made permanent. A lot of players have been raising their voices against this rule. The likes of Irfan Pathan and Suresh Raina have already expressed their desire to play in the overseas leagues.
However, there has been no real conclusion on that demand so far, with a lot of people supporting the opinion though. It all depends on how the BCCI wants to proceed with things in the years to come. This case could be a talking point too.
Whether they want players like Pravin Tambe to remain in the domestic circuit or not, remains to be seen. It will be a huge loss for Indian Cricket and the cricket fans. Let’s wait and watch how things end up in this case. For now, we wish Tambe and co. all the very best for the upcoming games in the CPL.
