Australian cricket anchor Chloe-Amanda Bailey on Thursday took on to Twitter to ask Indian skipper Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma to have their first child in the Kangaroo Island. She further suggested that Kohli’s child could become Australia’s greatest future batsman.
Virat Kohli recently returned back to India after a humiliating loss to Australia in the first test at Adelaide. Team India was not only bundled out for 36 in the second innings but also lost the test by eight wickets in three days. However, as per plans, Ajinkya Rahane will be filling Virat Kohli’s boots in the latter’s absence in the Border-Gavaskar trophy. Virat had to leave as he ‘wants to be with his wife, during the birth of their first child’.

Dear @imVkohli & @AnushkaSharma, can you please have your baby in Australia so he can potentially be Australia’s greatest future batsman ever. Cheers.

As Virat’s departure news took the backseat and team India’s team selection given their need to replace the skipper and pacer Mohammed Shami gains spotlight, Australian cricket anchor Chloe-Amanda Bailey released a series of Tweets around Kohli and somehow incorporated Bollywood movie Phir Hera Pheri.
While suggesting Virat and Anushka to have their child in Australia, Bailey Tweeted, “Dear @imVkohli & @AnushkaSharma, can you please have your baby in Australia so he can potentially be Australia’s greatest future batsman ever? Cheers.”
The Meme Linked To Phir Hera Pheri That Followed
She posted her suggestion on Twitter with a hilarious meme featuring Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal in a still from the movie Hera Pheri.

The tweet attracted a lot of attention on the social media platform, most of the replies coming from Indian cricket fans. Some of them asked her if she knew the plot of the iconic Bollywood film, while some of them asked her cliche questions about her knowledge of India.
When a user asked about the plot, Bailey said, “It is very funny. My favourite scene is at the bungalow when Raju is explaining to Pappu that Shyam told him to shut up because he has been like a father to him since he was five and when Pappu questions it Raju says something like ‘have not you heard of plastic surgery’ ?”
She also has a tweet from December 13 pinned at the top of her feed. The Aussie anchor clearly seems a fan of the Indian skipper as she mentions him as her favourite cricketer. Royal Challengers Bangalore was stated as her favourite Indian Premier League team.
What She Went On To Say About Virat Kohli And MS Dhoni In Another Tweet?
“To answer your most popular questions in one Tweet:
My fave cricketer is Virat Kohli.
My fave IPL team is RCB.
MS Dhoni is a legend.
Yes, I will visit India.
Yes, I will have chole bhature?” .
India will face Tim Paine’s Australia in the boxing day Test match beginning from December 26. While KL Rahul seemed like the most likely replacement for Virat Kohli at the top, he was still left out. Mohammed Siraj replaced an injured Mohammed Shami, as per the squad released.
Ravindra Jadeja’s availability made the selection even more interesting. Rahane got lured to include a quality all-rounder to strengthen the lineup. India trails the series 1-0 and will want to turn things around now. Let’s wait and watch!!
