The Afghan cricketer Naveen Ul Haq has finally responded after the verbal spat with Shahid Afridi and Mohammed Amir in Lanka Premier League. Naveen Ul Haq’s side Kandy Tuskers have beaten Shahid Afridi’s Galle Gladiators and the incident has taken place after the end of the match. The players of both teams have been shaking hands with each other. Shahid Afridi has been seen in smiling face before coming to shake his hands with Naveen Ul Haq. However, there has been some exchange of words between these two players and it is certainly not a pleasant sight for the viewers.
Sky Sports has posted the video of the incident in their Twitter handle. Shahid Afridi has tried to tell his version of the incident with retweeting the same tweet. He has advised the young players not to indulge themselves in abusive talks as cricket is known to be Gentleman’s game. He has also mentioned that he has many friends in Afghanistan and he shares a very good bond with them.
My advise to the young player was simple, play the game and don’t indulge in abusive talk. I have friends in Afghanistan team and we have very cordial relations. Respect for teammates and opponents is the basic spirit of the game. https://t.co/LlVzsfHDEQ

In the reply, Naveen Ul Haq has told that he knows the value of the game. He is always ready to take the advice from the senior players. Naveen Ul Haq has mentioned that he will not tolerate any kind of disrespect towards his countrymen. The equation is very much clear to Naveen Ul Haq.
Kandy Tuskers have put up a big total onboard against Galle Gladiators. Brendan Taylor has played a brilliant innings of 51 runs in this match. Kushal Mendis has scored 49 runs in 30 balls. Kamindu Mendis’ quickfire 28 runs have shifted the momentum towards Kandy Tuskers during the end of the innings. Mohammed Amir and Shahid Afridi have bowled well for Galle Gladiators. However, the other bowlers have gone for the plenty. Mohamed Shiraz has been the most expensive bowler for Galle Gladiators in this match. He has conceded 52 runs in four overs and he has taken the wicket of Gunaratne at the end. Sandakan has taken two wickets for his team but he has conceded 41 runs in his four overs.

While coming to chase the total, Gunathilaka has scored 82 runs for Galle Gladiators. However, no other batsman of his team has been able to build a solid partnership with him. So, as a result of it, Galle Gladiators have failed to chase down the total. Munaf Patel has picked up the first wicket of the innings. Hazratullah Zazai has gone back to the pavilion after scoring only two runs. The star Afghan bowler, Naveen Ul Haq has taken the important wicket of Jayasuriya at the crucial point of the innings. Dilruwan Perera and Asela Gunaratne have been brilliant with the ball for Kandy Tuskers. So, it has been a comprehensive victory for Kandy Tuskers in this match of Lanka Premier League.
The star Afghan cricketer, Naveen Ul Haq has taken his own stand after the incident and it will certainly be interesting to see the reaction of both players when these two sides will meet again in Lanka Premier League.
