The Video of Daniel Sams That Went Viral On Social Media
It looks like Daniel Sams is born to make the headlines. In the last match against Melbourne Stars, a rare incident happened when Daniel Sams was bowling. Batsman Nick Larkin missed a sweep and sneaked a quick single. The fielders could find the ball nowhere. It was later discovered that the ball got stuck in the inner concavity of Larkin’s pad. Social media couldn’t stop laughing on that hilarious incident.
Today, Daniel Sams again made the headlines, but this time for his brilliant performance in the match between his side Sydney Thunders and Brisbane Heats.

Here Is How Shane Warne Reacted To The Bowling!!
And that’s as bad a bowling as I’ve ever seen in T/20 cricket from the Brisbane heat & horrific plans too – any chance of a wide yorker???? #BBL

Brisbane Heats won the toss and decided to bat first. They got just the start they wanted, courtesy of a decent opening partnership between Max Bryant and Sam Heazlette. After that, the star of the moment, Daniel Sams dismissed Heazlette, Brisbane’s Mr Responsible Chris Lynn came in to bat. The Australian went on to play a brilliant knock of 69(44) and successfully took his side to a stable position. He was then dismissed by Chris Green. Dan Lawrence and Jack Wildermuth also played important knocks. Jack played an explosive knock of 31 off 11 that took Brisbane Heats to a defendable total of 178/6 in 20 overs. Jonathan Cook and Daniel Sams took two wickets each for Sydney Thunders.
Coming in to chase the huge total, Sydney Thunders did not get an ideal start. Brisbane’s Jack Wildermuth demolished their top order by taking three consecutive wickets at quick succession. Usman Khawaja, Alex Hales and Callum Ferguson were all dismissed by the young Australian pacer. Alex then came in and built momentum by his knock of 34 (24).
What Happened In The Game And What An Emphatic Win!!
The man of the moment Daniel Sams then came in the take control of the match. The hit started a show as soon as he came in by raining boundaries. The required run rate was very high but Daniel Sams did not care about that. He was here to play in his own way, and boy did he do so. The young Australian scored 64 off 25! He hit three fours and as many as seven 6s! Just when the match seemed to be slipping away from Sydney’s hands, Daniel Sams completely changed the game in his team’s favour.
Sydney Thunders required 24 runs in the last two overs, but Sam’s did it in just one over. Be Laughlin came to Bowl the 19th over. Daniel Sams hit four consecutive 6s (one ball dot in between) and finished off the match in style.
The young Australian also featured in the T20 series between India and Australia and gave a commendable performance. In the mean-time, many cricket experts and fans have started showering their love for the youngster after the fabulous performance that he gave tonight.
