The Australia and India Test series has given rise to several controversies and sledging affairs among players from both sides. The two teams share a very healthy rivalry and it is often translated on the pitch. Today when Ravindra Jadeja was fighting it out in the middle with the Indian tail, Josh Hazlewood got involved in a staredown with southpaw Ravindra Jadeja. The duo started starting each other as the Aussie bowler was looking to intimidate Jadeja as he was the last of the recognized batsman.
It was just a fun moment and the two had that look that fans love. It was friendly banter and not real sledging of the traditional type. Social Media too enjoy the show and shared the video around as usual.
The Video Of Ravindra Jadeja And Joss Hazlewood That Went Viral
India was in deep trouble when Hazlewood got Risabh Pant out and the wicketkeeper seems to be injured. The pacer was further motivated to finish off the tail beyond that.
Hence the aggression and sledging were obvious from the 30-year old pacer. India started brightly to Australia’s 338 in the first innings as Shubman Gill scored a brilliant half-century. That turned around before Gill getting out to Patt Cummins. It was when the downfall started.

While Chesteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane held the fort and resumed proceeding on Day 3. Rahane got out early and India had a collapse with Hanuma Vihari failing to score runs despite his long stay at the crease. While Pujara was set to make a big score, he got out right after scoring his half-century putting India under immense pressure.
India finally managed to score 244. They were short by a decent margin. The hosts enjoyed a 94 runs lead going into the second innings. India came back in the game ever so slightly as when got rid of openers David Warner and Will Pucovski early but a partnership from Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne have stopped India on their tracks.
What Next For Team India In This Match And Can They Win It?
The duo mustered a 68-run partnership and now with both batsmen set the Aussies will look to take the game away from India by putting up a huge lead for India to chase. The Aussies ended the day with a score of 103 for the loss of two wickets and have a handsome lead of 197 runs which puts them a lot ahead in this particular match.
Despite Jadeja’s best effort with the bowl in the first innings and also in the field and later even with the bat, the Indian team are in huge trouble. They will have to quickly take all ten wickets and then chase a mammoth total (hopefully not).
However, with Steve Smith still at the crease, things will not be easy for Team India. They will remember what Smith can do from his performance in the first innings. He already has eight centuries against India and this could be his ninth. Hopefully, the likes of Ravindra Jadeja and co. can get him quickly.
