The India vs England series has really picked up, with the visitors scoring big runs in the first innings. It seems that Joe Root and co. have grabbed the game by its throat and taken over. However, there is still a long way to go in this match, with three days still left. There have been some crazy moments in the game already. One such moment was when Rohit Sharma dropped a sitter. The reaction from Ben Stokes summed it all up.
It was just a casual attempt to gather the ball. One of the basic catches that any player is expected to take. However, what was Rohit Sharma doing? Jos Buttler was the batsman to be fortunate on this occasion and the fielding was slopping.
The Video Of Ben Stokes That Went Viral Atter The Catch Was Dropped By Rohit Sharma
This is why some of the fans don’t always prefer Rohit Sharma in the team due to his lack of fitness. However, this was just a basic catch. Such catches need to be taken. It was a total sitter and the fans were surprised too. However, such things tend to happen when you have been on the field for two days. We are all human.
Below is the video of the dropped catch that was shared around on Social Media and some of the fans started trolling Rohit Sharma for the same-

It was just a sign of how things were going for Team India. The hosts were not having the best of times. England looked on the verge of a big score and they did manage to put runs on the board in the first innings, after winning the toss and choosing to bat.

What Next For Team India In This Test Match Dominated By England So Far
The game has so far been dominated by England. Joe Root and Ben Stokes played really well to push their team to a score of 555/8 at the end of day 2. It was some delicious batting by the away team, who are keen on winning this match.
Not the best performance by Team India with the ball, though it is a really flat track at present. Whether that changes on day 3,4 and 5 or not, remains to be seen. The cricket so far has been in the favour of the batting side. Let’s hope that there is more balance in the game in the upcoming sessions.
If Team India want to take something from this game, they need to bat well in their first innings. If they fail to put up a big score, they could be in big trouble. On the other hand, England has a good bowling attack as well. They will be rather keen to impress as well. A place in the ICC World Test Championship Final is up for grab. Who will get it? Let’s wait and watch!!
