Despite that, there was no official word on this matter from the PCB. The PCB chairman Ehsan Mani denied everything when he was asked for an update on this story. Things are not looking certain at present. Despite that, it seems that the idea could be doing the rounds still.

They wanted the governing body of Indian cricket to confirm that the visas would be given to the Pakistani players. If not, the venue for the upcoming major tournament would be changed.
