Michael Vaughan has been taking a dig at the Indian players in recent times. He has been talking about a lot of wrong things that have been going on with Team India. His focus has been to highlight the mistakes that the team makes. It has been constructive in one sense but annoying in the other. The fans have been reacting to things he has been saying about Virat Kohli and co. and he keeps going on and on.
With that being said, the former England skipper was at it once again. He sent out another dig at Virat Kohli after the win in the fourth T20I.
What Was The Tweet By Michael Vaughan About Virat Kohli And Rohit Sharmat That Caught Everyone’s Attention?
Michael Vaughan sent out a Tweet after Team India beat England in the fourth T20I. It was about Virat Kohli being off the pitch and Rohit Sharma taking over. The Indian skipper did seem as if he had fatigue or a potential injury. However, in his absence, his rival in the IPL and the skipper of the Mumbai Indians did a good job.
As soon as Virat Kohli went off and Rohit Sharma took charge, Shardul Thakur came to bowl. He got a couple of wickets in two delivers. The all-rounder dismissed Ben Stokes and Eoin Morgan in two consecutive deliveries and was on a hattrick. That was at a point when he turned the game around.
Here is the Tweet that Michael Vaughan sent out after the game which was a clear dig at the Indian skipper-
Great captaincy from Virat … !! Allowing @ImRo45 to get involved & clearly his tactics work … #INDvENG

The rivalry between these two players is big in the IPL. There have been a lot of comparisons as to who is the better captain. The fans have been arguing for years now whether Rohit Sharma should be the Indian skipper.
With that being said, this was another instance of more proof supporting his case. The fanbase online was either defending King Kohli or rooting for Rohit Sharma.
What Next For Team India; Where Should The Focus Actually Lie For The Players?
The Indian players need to be focused on winning the series. They need to deliver in the final game to leave their mark. England is the number one T20 team and India is not that far behind in the second spot. A series win could really be a huge boost for Team India heading towards the T20 World Cup later this year.
Hopefully, both Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma can perform at the best of their abilities in the upcoming game. The team needs both its skipper and vice-captain to be in top gear and get the best out of the players, one last time in this format against England. If that is the case, it will be a great series win for the team at home. Only time will tell whether that happens or not and if India can complete another big turnaround!!
