Sam Curran was no exception, the duo of Pant and Hardik even took him apart. Hardik Pandya hit two big sixes in the 46th over that Sam Curran bowled and Pant smacked a one-handed six in that over. Hardik Pandya attempted a wild slog in the last ball, and if he would have connected that, that could have made matters worse for Sam Curran.

India posted a massive total of 336 runs after 50 overs which has given them the advantage yet again
Indian batsmen once again inflicted serious damage on the English bowlers at the death. Sam Curran, his brother Tom and Ben Stokes all had to face the wrath of the Indian batsmen. Pant scored a fiery 77 runs off 40 balls and at one stage looked set to score the fastest century by an Indian batsman in ODI’s.
He failed to score the century. However, his knock which included three fours and seven sixes gave the much-needed launch pad for a big score for Team India. Hardik Pandya continued the onslaught forward as he scored 35 runs off 16 balls. He hit four fours and four sixes during his innings. Due to the power-hitting of Pant and Hardik at the end, India posted a total of 336 runs after 50 overs.
The England batsmen will now have to come out firing. It will be interesting to see how the English batsmen go about their business after they lost their way out in the middle in the last ODI.
