Team India is in top gear and is on the verge of winning the Test match and the series. It looks all good for the hosts, who are all set to qualify for the final of the World Test Championship. After a really poor start to this series, the home side has now completed yet another comeback.
Game 1 was lost due to a casual performance and that changed post the loss. Joe Root and co. batted well in that first game, with the skipper putting up a solid double hundred. Since then, it has been just a downhill batting performance for the English side.
They have failed to make a decent score and have thrown away their wickets. That was once again the case in the second innings of the fourth Test match. Mediocre batting with really poor shot selection was the order of the day.
Axar Patel And Team India Got So Lucky Getting Dom Sibley Out; Video Goes Viral
Fortune favours the brave. Without a doubt, it did favour the home side to an extent. Not just were they able to score some crucial runs when they needed them, through Rishabh Pant and Washington Sundar, but they also got the early wickets. On the other hand, one English batsman who will consider himself extremely unlucky is opener Dom Sibley.
The player got out in the funniest and silliest of ways. It was just hilarious to watch. At the same one time must have felt sorry for the player.

Well, the Indian fans were having a ball when these wickets were falling. However, you got to feel a bit for Dom Sibley who was trying hard to keep his team in the game. He played a strong sweep only for it to hit Shubman Gill’s pad at short-leg. The ball flew up straight into the hands of wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant.
Going into tea, Team India were on the verge of yet another Test win. A win that would help them win this series 3-1.
Some Indian Players Really Need A Break; Injuries Could Be Looming Right Round The Corner
With the amount of cricket the players have played, they do need a reprieve. The cricket that followed post the pandemic’s impact and the lockdown has been nothing short of exhausting. Some of these players need a well-deserved break.
The ODI and T20 series could provide them that break. It will be great to see some of them rested and finally getting a breather. They have been playing high-intensity cricket for a few months now. It is essential to balance things out in a year that could be a very crucial one.
The IPL 2021 tournament and the T20 World Cup 2021 will also be played in India at the end of the year. With that being said, every team including Team India needs to be physically and mentally prepared. It will not be easy for a lot of teams with the kind of cricket that has been planned this year. Despite that, the team with the strongest mentality and best physical fitness, along with smart planning could win it all. Let’s wait and watch!!
