Virat Kohli likes to put a price on his wicket all the time. He is one who wants to score as many runs as possible and never backs away from a challenge. Keeping that in mind, King Kohli did not look very sharp against the Sunrisers Hyderabad. It was also due to the pitch and some good bowling that RCB crumbled under pressure. Keeping that in mind, the skipper tried his best to sail the ship through till the end but failed!!
However, that was just not meant to be the case. Though the team from Bengaluru did manage to win the game, Virat Kohli had a few gestures to let it all out. That did not go down too well with the rule books.
What Exactly Happened With Virat Kohli And Which Rules Did He Breach This Time?
Virat Kohli was found guilty of a preach of a Level 1 offence 2.2. This relates to “Abuse of cricket equipment or clothing, ground equipment or fixtures and fittings during a Match”. It was about the incident after he got out. Virat Kohli blasted a chair that was kept on the sidelines. This was to let go of the anger on how he got out and at the wrong time.
Below is the video showcasing his frustration. However, that did not go down well with the officials and he breached the IPL Code Of Conduct.

Patience has not been Virat Kohli’s best attribute. Despite that, his fans tend to love him and admire his cricket. However, King Kohli really needs to be careful with his actions. His behaviour could hurt him in the long run.
What Happened In The Game; Great Win For RCB?
RCB managed to put up a total of 149/8 in the first innings of the game against SRH. They did not bat well but a well-played 59 from Glenn Maxwell helped them reach a respectable score. Virat Kohli and co. just did enough to reach a decent target, which they then tried to defend.
On the other hand, SRH had a great start after the dismissal of Wriddhiman Saha. David Warner and Manish Pandey held the fort and worked on chasing down the target. After Warner got out, things were still looking positive for the team from Hyderabad. However, a batting collapse did not work in their favour. At the end, RCB won by six runs. A game that should have been easily won by SRH.
Skipper Virat Kohli would have been really proud of his team. The way that they fought was commendable. The players seem to be motivated and RCB have now won both their games. They are at the top of the IPL 2021 table. Stop the count already!! That is how Kohli and his team will want to keep things. They are yet to win an IPL title and this year could just be it. Let’s wait and watch!!
