In the recently played Pakistan Super League match between Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators, Pakistani pacer Shaheen Afridi got involved in a nasty war of words with fellow Quetta Gladiators and Pakistan skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed. The brawl started when in the fifth ball of the third over, Shaheen Afridi bowled a deadly bouncer which hit directly into Sarfaraz Ahmed’s helmet who was on strike. It caused the Pakistan skipper to suffer a concussion and he took a moment or so to recover from it. The Umpire gave it as a No-Ball.
The Incident Between Sarfaraz Ahmed And Shaheem Afridi That Caught Everyone’s Attention
However, pacer Shaheen Afridi did not like the Umpire’s decision and started to argue. He believed that Sarfaraz Ahmed had stepped out and due to his short stature, it should not have been considered as a No-Ball.
At this moment, Sarfaraz Ahmed came in to solve the issue and tried to calm Shaheen Afridi down. However, the pacer lashed out at his national team’s captain which was definitely not liked by Sarfaraz. He was seen heating down the pitch away from the bowler chirping at the lowest pitch possible.
The batsman who was at the non-striker’s end came in to solve the issue. He separated the two and calmed Sarfaraz Ahmed down.

The Commentators and all the Cricket analysts could understand Shaheen Afridi’s passion for the game, but they think that the pacer should have been a lot more considerate given the fact that it was his Nation side’s captain was talking to.
We have ok multiple occasions in the past where players have been deliberately keeping out of the playing 11 due to their issues with the skipper or the coach. Hopefully, that will not be the case between Shaheen Afridi and Sarfaraz Ahmed.
