LSG Vs KKR Live Update: Gautam Gambhir Credits Mohsin Khan For His Spell Against DC

LSG vs KKR Live Update

LSG vs KKR Live Update: Against the Delhi Capitals on Sunday, Mohsin Khan’s excellent spell enabled the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) to earn two valuable points under the guidance of Gautam Gambhir, the team’s mentor.

In a match that saw 384 runs scored at the Wankhede Stadium, Mohsin returned with figures of 4/16 in his four overs to complete the victory. The youthful left-armer claimed the crucial wickets of David Warner and the dangerous-looking Rishabh Pant to turn the game on its head. In the 17th over, Mohsin also removed Rovman Powell and Shardul Thakur, thereby ending the Capitals’ chances of winning the game.

Gautam Gambhir believes that the youngster’s spell against DC was the game-changer since Lucknow won by six runs as a result of his performance. A video posted by the team included the former Indian opener, who stated the following:

“Mohsin…. I don’t believe it is a matter of one over. Just the spell that Mohsin bowled, four overs for 16 runs, was all that was needed. And the one before that, the previous one, in which he was able to get Rovman Powell and then [Shardul] Thakur out, was a watershed moment. A young man with a terrific mind and a great deal of self-assurance in his ability to perform. If he continues to put in the effort, he will very likely develop into a very excellent player.”

Mohsin Khan has already made an impression in his IPL debut with his immaculate line and length. He has just played four matches so far. He has eight wickets to his name. Mohsin has an economy rate of 6.07 runs per over in the process.

The 23-year-old pacer will want to build on his recent success in the upcoming games and establish himself as a serious contender for a spot in the national team’s rotation.

LSG vs KKR Live Update: The former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir said, “We still need to improve.”

Despite the Super Giants’ strong overall performance, the 40-year-old former cricketer believes that the squad must continue to improve in all three areas of the game as the competition nears its conclusion.

Gautam Gambhir expressed himself as follows:

“KL [Rahul] was just great. [Deepak] Hooda’s performance was outstanding. However, Mohsin Khan was an outstanding performer, in my opinion. On this wicket, you can’t expect someone like him to cast this type of spell for you. In Wankhede, bowling second has 16 for four in four overs, which is incredible. However, we haven’t been at our best in terms of cricket. There is still much work to be done. I don’t believe we played our best cricket, but we did manage to get a victory. I believe that we should not be sweeping things under the rug. We must continue to make improvements. Continue to improve in each of the three aspects. It is exactly what Champion teams are known for doing.”

At the Pune International Cricket Stadium, the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), who are now second in the points table, will face the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Saturday.
